"Girl I'm so close to dropping out of college. Really bouta say fuck it and just fuck my professors" Sorrell dragged.
"College not even that bad" I laughed.
"That's cuz you actually pay attention. Ion have the patience for all of that" She shrugged.
I heard the front door open making me glance at the door seeing Tre walk in.
"Why you over here?" He mugged me.
"I'm doing homework" I frowned.
Ever since I got shot Tre has been mean as hell to me. I wasn't used to this at all and I was starting to get sick of it. I knew he was mad at me but it's been 4 days since I got discharged from the hospital he needed to get over it.
"Can I talk to you outside?" I stood up.
"Nah ion wanna speak to you" He pushed past me.
"Tre just talk to her" She rolled her eyes.
"Mind yo business and go to my room" He mugged her.
She kissed her teeth and stood up from the chair. "I'll see you later" She told me.
I watched Sorrell disappear down the hallway before I turned my attention back on Tre.
"I know you mad at me but please hear me out" I pleaded.
"It ain't nun for you to say Esme. You the last female I know to be dumb over sum nigga but lately you been tripping" He shook his head.
"Are you talking about Rico?" I frowned.
"Who else?" He mugged me. "You like him?"
"I don't know him to like him" I lied.
"I know you Esme. You not welcomed over here no more. Ion care if Joey over there either, go over one of yo friends house but you not finna be over here" He shrugged.
"It wasn't even his fault that I got hit! He told me to go inside but I didn't listen" I began crying.
"Why you ain't go inside?" He stared in my eyes.
"Because I care about him" I cried.
The front door opened revealing Rico.
"Rico cmere real quick" Tre motioned for him to com over.
"Whatever I did, I ain't do it" He came closer. He looked at me.
