"One day imma just kill the whole entire police department they ain't ready for me" Tre and his friend walked in.
I needed to study for test I had in one of my college classes so I was over my cousin house. I've been coming over my cousin house to do homework since I was in high school. My mom would always have one of her episodes and I'd have to stop my assignments to help her out and would forget to do them so here I was to avoid that.
"Fuck you doin studying?" Tre eyed my books.
"If you knew why'd you ask?" I mumbled.
"What?" He blew his smoke in my face.
"Please don't do that around me. Your gonna die young if you continue" I frowned.
"Shiid I'd be lucky to have a kid before I die"
"Don't say that" I frowned.
"You scared of the truth or sum?" His friend looked at me.
"Yes." I simply said.
"You probably wouldn't be single if you ain't dress like a nigga" He stared at me.
"Umm I'll see you later Tre" I mumbled grabbing my books.
"Better get used to it. This reality shawdy" He called out and I slammed the front door.
I sniffed as I struggled to pull out my keys from my eyes being so blurry from my tears.
"Aye" I looked back seeing him come outside but I turned back around.
"Yo you really crying? How old are you?" He chuckled.
"What do you want?" I sighed facing him.
"I ain't really sorry for what I said but yo bitchass cousin told me to come apologize so my fault for tellin you some facts" He shrugged.
I folded my arms across my chest biting my bottom lip in annoyance. "Who hurt you?" I simply asked.
"What?"
"Why do you act like this? Who hurt you so bad to the point where your disrespectful to everyone?" I wiped my tears as he stayed silent.
"Just forget it" I shook my head hopping into my car before driving off.
