(A/N: Welcome to the first part of this two-part arc! I'll admit, I mostly don't wanna do this, mainly because I don't like Care Bears. However, if I don't do this, then we have the whole trip in New York that had been built up for awhile take place off-screen, which would be a massive disappointment to all of you. Plus, the stuff that happens in this mini arc are plot-relevant for this story and later stories. Anyways, hope you enjoy this take on The Care Bears Movie and pray for my brain cells.)

Everyone's P.O.V.-Cherrywoods' House/Orphanage, ???-2060(Everything still looks like it's from the late 1900s-early 2000s. Wanna know why? Multiverse theory! Plus, this is part of the Sabrina The Animated Series universe, where the technology is way behind, despite the time period.)

It was evening as we begin our story at a house, a house that still has its lights on as 9 kids have their hands clasped in a prayer.

"Bless all the people young and old, for they are yours to love and hold, and bless Mr. and Mrs. Cherrywood, amen," the kids in the room prayed.

"Good night, children. Sweet dreams," Mrs. Cherrywood said.

"Mrs. Cherrywood, isn't Mr. Cherrywood going to tuck us in?" asked one of the children.

"Oh, he'll be along. Don't you worry," Mrs. Cherrywood assured as Mr. Cherrywood walk up the stairs, taking off his hat.

"I hope I'm not too late," Mr. Cherrywood said, walking up to the room.

"They've been asking for you." Mrs. Cherrywood informed, moving aside so that Mr. Cherrywood can walk in the room.

"Mr. Cherrywood!" The same kid said in excitement as the other kids cheered.

"Look sharp, everyone. Watch the bouncing balls," Mr. Cherrywood said as he began juggling a couple of balls.

"All righty, here we go. A-one, a-two, a-three. And then...ah-ah-ah!" Mr. Cherrywood finished his juggling act as the kids cheered.

"Thank you, thank you and...thank you. Now off to sleep to dream of clowns and circuses, acrobats and jugglers. And remember: I want a full report in the morning." Mr. Cherrywood said to the kids with a kind smile, as they gave him one in return.

"Story, Mr. Cherrywood? Story? Please, the one about the circus?" Another child, a female toddler, asked.

Mr. Cherrywood, at the door with Mrs. Cherrywood, look back into the room with a knowing smile.

"Please?" asked another child.

"Yay! Tell us a story!" The other kids say.

"Well...all right," Mr. Cherrywood said, as the kids began to cheer. "Just one story."

All the boys jumped onto one bed and all the girls did the same so that they can hear the story properly. As Mr. Cherrywood sat down on a red chair, Mrs. Cherrywood picked up the toddler and handed her to Mr. Cherrywood, who placed the toddler on his lap.

"Story hat, story hat!" The toddler said, knowing that the story cannot be properly told unless Mr. Cherrywood is wearing his hat, which Mrs. Cherrywood handed to him and he put it on.

"Yay!" The toddler said.

Mr. Cherrywood turned on the lamp near his chair so that he can have a bit more light. Mrs. Cherrywood leaned against the doorframe, listening to the story Mr. Cherrywood is telling.

"This is the story of two young children named Kim and Jason, and how they were helped by a group of very special friends: the Care Bears. You see, the Care Bears have a very special mission, and that mission is to help everyone share their feelings with others. The Care Bears live in a magic place...called Care-a-lot.
