~P A R T 32~

~PAYTON'S POV~

*beep* *beep* *beep*

I slowly opened my eyes. I felt like I was in Nicole's position when she was in the hospital. Now I know how she really felt. My vision was blurry and I tried to clear my vision by guiding my eyes throughout the room. I heard shifting in the room so I wasn't alone. 

"Hey." I heard someone said softly. 

I felt a light touch on my hand and I squeezed it slightly. I soon began to realize it was Nicole. A small smile swallows my face and I couldn't hold it back. 

Nicole: "How are you feeling?" she asked softly.

Payton: "Superior." I said with a slight grin.

Nicole: "So what even happened?" she asked, guiding her eyes to mine.

Payton: "When we were getting on the jet and we heard the shot and turns out, it went straight for me." I explained.

Nicole: "But why didn't you tell me?" she asked, gaining an angry tone in her throat.

Payton: "I didn't want to worry you, and it didn't go straight through me." I said trying to make it convincing.

Nicole: "That's fucked up. You could have died and I wouldn't have known." She said letting go of my hand and standing up.

Payton: "Are you seriously going to get mad over this?" I asked getting slightly angry.

Nicole: "It's fine, whatever." she said leaving and slamming the door on her way out.

I rubbed my eyes stressed out then I heard the door open.

Kam: "Stay in bed, you need another dosage from your IV." he said adding more liquid to the IV. 

He also speed up the IV drip so it looks like I was gonna be here for a while. 

Kam: "Rest, you'll need it." he said and left.

~NICOLE'S POV~

I sat down next to Tayler and rested my head on his shoulder.

Tayler: "How's he feeling?" he asked.

Nicole: "Superior." I said laughing a bit.

Tayler: "Did he tell you what happened?" he asked.

I told him everything and he was kinda pissed as well.

Nicole: "I know, but I kinda understand I guess." I said shrugging.

Tayler: "Yeah, I guess." he said.

Bryce: "Nicole, how long until we get there?" he said walking over to us.

Nicole: "30 minutes, max." I said getting up to check on Payton.

I walked in slowly and noticed he was asleep. I decided to crawl into bed with him and I laid there thinking of what my next move was. But Porter came in soon after and said that we arrived. Kam came in and helped Payton into a wheelchair and we arrived to the house.  It felt like years since i've been here and it probably has been at least a year. I immediatly helped payton shower and change and I did the same and I held a meeting in the first meeting room we all met in.

I straightened my hair and did light makeup. We made our way to the meeting room and it felt weird to be back here again.

Nicole: "I've made my decision on what is going to be happening for the next few months." I said pacing around the room.

Nicole: "We will be here for the next month, after that we move to Texas for the remainder of the year." I added.

Nicole: "But since we have houses just about everywhere, you can travel wherever and whenever you please. I don't care where you go whether it's inside or outside of the U.S. All you have to do is let me know when your going, where you are going, and when you'll be back since I will have to get a private jet for you and tell you where the house is." I added lastly.

They all grew smiles on their faces. 

Nicole: "To clarify, you can leave right now if you want, but me and the members that won't be traveling will move to Texas for a while and stay there. Are we clear?" I asked guiding my eyes throughout the room.

They nodded and I dismissed them. I took Payton back up to the room and let him rest for the remainder of the day. I was watching TV and finishing up some paperwork that needed to be done until I heard Jaden, Chase, Thomas, Nick, and Avalon came in.

Nicole: "Hey, what's up?" I asked setting my work aside.

Jaden: "We wanted to let you know where we are all traveling and such." He said with a slight smile.

I gave them the look to let them proceed.

Avalon: "I am going to go see my mom back in New York, I will be leaving next week and coming back on the 2nd." she said.(It is currently January 20)

I nodded and wrote down the dates and Nick proceeded to talk.

Nick: "I'm going to Chicago to get away for awhile, I leave next week as well and won't come back til the 1st." he said.

I nodded and wrote down everyone else's. Chase is going to Atlanta and Jaden is going to Kentucky. They all leave next week and won't come back or a week or so. They left and I cuddled Payton the rest of the evening. I told Porter to order food for the gang of whatever their choosing so I didn't have to worry about it. Payton woke up every once in a while and gave me a kiss and cuddled with me and would fall back asleep. Id do the same as well once I finally fell asleep. And the rest of the night was peaceful and I was overall stressed over everything.
