Akari's POV

"It's the last day already? It felt like a day!" I groaned. 

"Can't bear to leave this trip with me?" Asahi smirked.

"Sure," I scoffed, although what he said might had been true. 

"Come on, let's get breakfast," he dragged me out of the hostel. 

"Oh god," I muttered as a throng of fans ran towards us, or maybe just Asahi. Plus paparazzi. 

"Mr Hamada, how do you feel about clinching champion consecutively in three days?" A paparazzi approached us. 

"A-S-A-H-I is the best!" Asahi's little fan club screamed. 

I sighed and went back into our hostel. "I'll see you later," I mumbled. 

"Ka-" Before he could insist, I retreated back into our room. 

Don't get me wrong - I wasn't jealous of Asahi's fame. Neither was I envious. 

I just felt out of place, and...maybe I was jealous of the number of girls who had massive crushes on him. 

I stared at my phone though my whole mind was focused entirely on the mini fan meet and interview happening outside the room. 

"Phew," Asahi slammed the door as he beamed. 

"Back so soon?" I pretended to look at my phone. 

"Why'd you abandon me," he pouted and leaned his heavy head on me. 

"Ew, go away," I teased and laughed as I pushed him away. 

He folded his arms and stood in front of me as he waved his hands rapidly and twisted his body round and round. It was the stupidest but cutest dance I had ever seen. 

I attempted to hide my chuckle but I burst out laughing after seeing him stick his tongue out at me. 

"Aha! You laughed you laughed you laughed. I knew no one couldn't resist laughing at my robot dance." he circled me as I shoved him playfully. 

"I didn't! You laughed at yourself! And what kind of name is 'robot dance'." I pointed to him and scowled. 

"Don't try to hide it!" He grabbed my finger. 

Then Asahi mimicked spongebob as he made his laugh go "bahahaha".

I snorted as he screamed, "WOOHOO!" 

I slumped myself onto the bed as I crossed my arms, half frowning. 

"Petty," Asahi sneered as he lay onto his bed and turned to face me. 

"Stop looking at me."

"I'm not!"

"I can feel you Sahi."

"No you can't!" 

*knock*

"I'll get it," Asahi dashed to the door. 

"Hey, uh, you guys ready? It's time to go. Is Akari around?" He looked around the room. 

"I wanna pass her this. In case she hasn't eaten her breakfast."

"Ne, I'm here-" I called out but Asahi placed his hand over my mouth. 

"I fed her food, thanks, bye," Asahi slammed the door in his face. 

"Wae? Why did you slam the door? I don't think he was done speaking, and I haven't eaten breakfast Sahi!" I complained. 

"Aigo, I'll get some food for you later," Asahi started to pack his things. 

On the way back to Japan, I slept too much and found myself leaning on Asahi's shoulder whenever I woke up, which was utterly embarrassing. 

"Ya, we're here," Asahi patted me gently as I woke up for the hundredth time. 

"We are?" I asked, eyes still closed.

Asahi stuffed a gummy bear into my mouth as I opened my eyes. 

"Let's go softie," he unbuckled my seat belt and tickled my sides playfully. 

I smiled unintentionally and woke up, trudging into the airport departure centre. 

"I guess no one came to pick us up," Asahi sighed as he manoeuvred our luggage towards the taxi stand. 

"I wanna sleep," I whispered. 

Asahi chuckled and helped me into the taxi, in which I slept and woke up again and again. It was a vicious cycle until we reached school.

I ran into the halls and glanced around, since I was elated to be back. 

"Let's go to our classroom!" I sprang up in excitement. I was so excited to see Sana and Haruto. 

As I dashed into the classroom, Asahi covered my eyes. 

But I had already seen what had happened. 

Haruto's arms were wrapped around Sana as he neatened her fringe. 

They were...akin to lovers. 

"We should go," Asahi took my hand and dragged me away but I yanked my hand out of his grasp and stomped back. 

"Akari," he muttered but didn't stop me. 

"H-Haruto," I mumbled with a shaky tone. 

Haruto removed his arms from Sana's waist as he bit his lip. Sana stared down onto the floor in silence. 

"Akari, it's not what you think. I just thought-" Haruto stuttered.

"You just thought that I was overseas and you guys could do whatever shit you're doing right now?" I glared at him as I felt tears circle in my eyes. 

Don't cry. You're not gonna cry in front of Haruto Watanabe. 

"No. Look, we should talk things out. I know..." Haruto insisted as he clutched my wrist. 

"Let me go! You don't know about the things I sacrifice for you Haruto...You will never know. I have done so much for you...Yet you, you do this to me?" I cried. 

"And with my freaking best friend?!" I yelled at him as my tears escaped. 

"Akari, please listen to us," Sana begged. 

"Wow...So you and Haruto are 'us' now?" I demanded. 

"You know what? I'm not angry at any of you, neither am I jealous. I just really really, from the bottom of my heart, pity myself!" I screamed as I turned and ran out of the classroom, sobs filling the hallway. 

Others stared at me as I ran by, but I couldn't be bothered. 

I threw myself against a wall and slumped down onto the cold, hard floor, as I jabbed in my airpods. 

But you never know unless you walk in my shoes. 

I hate you Haruto. I despise you. 

All the times I shunned away the jealousy that was building up in me whenever you flirted with other girls. 

All the times you ignored me and didn't even speak to me for one whole day.

All the times I had to comply with you just because you never wanted to agree with me. 

All the times I rejected other guys, everything...I did everything for you. 

You were my everything. 

(Author's note: yep yep that's it for this chapter gah i'm kinda feeling sad for kari but at the same time i wished ruto had waited for her to come back before being with sana,, idk actually fjfirejogjre i wrote this but i have mixed feelings about their decisions ;-; remember to wear your masks and stay safe nonetheless, i might update again in a few hours, or maybe not, we'll see :D also i'm late but DID YOU GUYS SEE BLACK HAIRED ASAHI OH MY GOD)
