꧁The Full Moon꧂

Two days sure did fly by. It was almost time. I was sat in the boys dorms with James and Sirius who had a mandrake leaf for me. As the moon began to rise, I placed the leaf in my mouth, tucking it under my tongue. 'Dang, it is hard to talk!' I said, slightly muffled from the leaf in my mouth. 'Yeah, that's why we were so quite a couple months ago, we had leaves in our mouths!' James laughed. So the process has began! I was officially becoming an animagus! I had already filled out the paperwork to become an animagus, I just needed to show what my animagus form looks like which I'll do once I transform. Sirius and James both pulled me into a hug. 'Don't get hurt y/n. I dunno what I'd do if you did..' Sirius said, he sounded really worried. 'Yeah, don't get hurt. Not just because I'll have to deal with a sad Padfoot but You're my friend y/n, it may surprise you but I do care about you a bit!' James chuckled. 'Don't worry, I won't get hurt. Especially with two of my three favourite boys looking out for me' I smiled. 'Who are the two?' James asks, sounding genuinely confused. Sirius gave him a look that said 'are you serious?' I laughed and then said 'James, it's you and Sirius. Well not in that order, my top three boys are Sirius, someone else then you James!' I laughed even more. 'Wow! I'm honoured! You're in my top 3 girls! As friends of course. You're second on mine though. Who stole my spot?' James asked sounding a bit annoyed. 'My brother, Amos. Kinda need to have him in my top 3 don't I?' I giggled. 'Wait, so you're saying I outrank your brother? Damn you must love me!' Sirius joked. 'Okay guys, I'm gonna shut up now, hard to talk with the leaf.' The boys nodded at me and they sat talking, me nodding along with what they said. After a short while, I headed to the girls dorm to go to bed.

———Time Skip to the Hogsmeade Trip———

I rushed around the empty dorm, starting to get ready for the first Hogsmeade trip of the year. Specifically, getting ready for my date with Sirius. I still had the lovely mandrake leaf inside my mouth, I was used to it being there now. I had 5 days left of it before the next full moon when I'd be able to take it out, and lucky for me there was an electrical storm due merely a day after. I couldn't wait to find out what my animagus form would be. I know my patronus is a husky so maybe that will be my animagus form. I dunno but it's just a thought I guess. 'Y/n! The carriages are leaving soon! Hurry up!' Lily shouted up the stairs. 'Okay!' I shouted back, making sure the mandrake leaf didn't leave my mouth. I was wearing a pink, off the shoulder top with a light blue denim skirt and some white trainers, all muggle clothes. I tied my hair into a low bun and had a little makeup on. I walked down the stairs and saw Sirius in his favourite leather jacket, a plain white shirt and a pair of black ripped jeans. He had his hair messy as usual, but for once it was on purpose. 'You look good, Black.' I smirked. 'Not too bad yourself Diggory' Sirius said as he grabbed my hand. 'Where did Lily and everyone else go?' I asked. 'They got sick of waiting on you so they left for the carriages. I, being the gentleman that I am, waited for my beautiful princess!' Sirius said with a bow at the end. 'Oh my knight in shining leather! What would I do without you?' I laughed as Sirius and I got to the carriages.

The ride to Hogsmeade was quiet, mostly because it was only us in the compartment and I couldn't talk much because of the mandrake leaf. We sat beside each other in a comfortable silence, Sirius had his arm around my waist and I had my head on his shoulder. Every so often Sirius would tell me he loves me and I would say the same, it would sound weird since yknow leaf in the mouth but I still said it back to him. 'Y/n, I wanna tell you something. You don't need to answer me but I just wanna say it. Remember how since like 3rd year I've been flirting with girls all the time and snogged a few? Well, that was all me trying to make you jealous, it seemed to have failed at first but recently I saw you roll your eyes and scoff a couple times. Whenever I had flirted with a girl in front of you, after I did I'd tell her I only wanted one girl and I was sorry for messing with her. The only girl it lasted a while with was Marlene which makes it my fault for all the rumours. I'm sorry about all that. Anyway, I got off track. What I'm trying to say is that I'm in love with you and always have been since we were thirteen.' Sirius finished. 'You've told me all of this before but I love you too Sirius, more than you'd think' I said. I then moved my head up to kiss him on the cheek, but as I did Sirius quickly turned his head so it's be a peck on the lips. 'Sneaky..' I laughed. The carriages soon came to a stop. Sirius jumped out and helped me down.
