'I really did miss you Sirius.' I said as I kept my head buried in Sirius' chest. 'You've said that like twenty times already, y/n. Each time I've told you the same thing, I've missed you too babe.' Sirius smiled down at me. I squeezed him in a hug and felt him wince. 'I'm sorry..I didn't mean to hurt you there. You don't need to answer this but, your mother, did she use the...the...' I trailed off. 'James told you, didn't he?' Sirius asked. I slowly nodded. 'It's not his fault! I was worrying and he didn't want to make it worse but said I should know and he was trying to help me focus on other things too! And...and-' I said but Sirius cut me off. 'It's okay, I'd have to tell you anyway. Yes, she did. I'll be fine though don't worry about it.' Sirius said, he sounded so unaffected by it but I felt tears flood my cheeks. 'I'm so sorry. She shouldn't do that to you. You don't deserve it.' I whispered. 'It's okay love. Do you think we should maybe, I dunno, get off the floor? Maybe go sit on the couch or up in my dorm?' He laughed. 'Yeah! Right! Let's go! You can pick where we go.' I smiled, helping him up. When we were both stood up, I quickly went onto my toes and kissed him. 'I've missed that!' Sirius laughed. He then took my hand and lead me up to the boys dorms.

When we got to the boys dorms, it was empty. 'So what we gonna-' I started but Sirius cut me off by picking me up bridal-style and dumped me on him bed. 'Merlin Sirius!' I laughed. 'I've had to spend a week at 12 Grimmauld Place without anyone I like. So, now I need to spend time in Hogwarts with the person I like the most!' Sirius said then jumped down beside me. He wrapped his arms around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. 'We do this really often, did you know that?' I asked. 'Yeah, that's because I like to cuddle my babyyyy' Sirius chuckled. I nuzzled my head into his neck. 'I wuv youuu!' I said in a baby voice. 'I love you too, darling' Sirius whispered. 'Kiss me?' I asked, giving Sirius puppy dog eyes, which since becoming an animagus I've become very good at since yknow a dog, while staring at his stormy grey eyes. 'Of course, y/n/n' Sirius smiled before moving my head up, leaning down and kissing me. After cuddling for around an hour longer, we decided to go find the other 3/4 of the marauders plus the girls.

When we walked into the common room, it was empty. I expected to see at the very least James, Remus and Peter sitting there watching the stairs and then hear James shouting something like 'When we say 'get a room' we didn't mean the room you share with us, Padfoot!' And then hear a chorus of laughter but there was only silence. Sirius looked just as confused as I was. 'Oh wait, it's lunch time! They'll all be in the great hall!' I said as I looked at the clock which made me realise. 'You're right, as usual, let's go get them then, shall we love?' Sirius held out his arm towards me. I linked my arm with his and we headed down to the great hall. We walked in and realised we were right, there were our friends sat in their usual spots. 'Hey! The lovebirds decided they had time to join us!' James yelled as we sat down. I sat next to Lily and Sirius sat across from me next to James. I grabbed a couple sandwiches and put them on my plate. 'So, you two catching up?' Marlene asked. Sirius nodded while eating a bit of chicken. 'Catching up or snogging?' Dorcas asked with a laugh. 'Surprisingly, Mr Black here didn't try to snog me. We just talked and cuddled. It was quite nice..' I smirked at Sirius who was now turning a shade of crimson. 'So, it's December! Who's going home for the holidays?' Peter asked. Almost everyone said they were. Almost. I sat in silence. 'Y/n? Are you heading home?' Remus asked. 'Oh, not this year. I'm staying here. We have our O.W.L's after the break so I'm staying to study. My parents are going on a holiday anyway and I'm not staying with Amos alone for two weeks!' I laughed. Everyone looked at me with sympathetic smiles. 'What? What are those looks of sympathy for? I'm fine! It's not like I'm spending Christmas completely alone. A few people will still be here. So is everyone just going to their own places or are any of you going to someone else's for the holidays?' I asked. 'Padfoot's coming to stay with me and my folks, I think everyone else is going to their homes.' James said, everyone nodded. 'I still can't believe the full moon is gonna fall on the night before you all leave though. It's gonna be kinda creepy..' I trailed off, realising that Remus would probably be happy about it since he could spend the full moon with his friends. 'Yeah, it's not until Sunday though y/n so we've got nothing to worry about!' Sirius said. Everyone just looked at him. 'Sirius, you do realise it's Saturday today, right?' Sirius jumped when I spoke 'Saturday already?! Godric sake!' He said.
