A/N - Hey! So there's a bit of conflict in this chapter. Aka me putting a fight into the mix 👀 there'll be a line there if you don't like that stuff. Also there will be slight blood mentioned so just yeah, if you don't like that just skip the lines :) enjoy the chapter!

I snapped my head around to see Snape walking from the corner he disappeared into. 'Prongs, take Lily outside. Padfoot and I can deal with this.' I instructed. 'On it Cotton! See you soon!' James said as he pulled Lily into her house. 'Why? Why y/n?' Snape asked. 'Why what, Snivellous?' I groaned. 'Why would you let Lily be alone with him? Why would you let her be alone with him but won't let her be alone with me? He was there too! He drove me to say it!' Snape rambled. 'He didn't call her a mudblood or completely betray her trust! He is also a good person! He actually cares about other people, unlike you!' I huffed. 'I do care! I care about Lily!' Snape shouted back at me. 'No. You don't care about her Severus. If you did, you wouldn't have called her a mudblood, you wouldn't have come to her door every day when she made it obvious she didn't want to speak with you and you wouldn't have threatened to hex her Muggle parents!' I scowled at Snape. 'Okay, I really do love to see you getting feisty love but can I take over?' Sirius whispered to me. I looked up at him to see an evil grin on his face then realised he had let go of my waist and clenched his fists. 'I swear to Merlin if you get in trouble I'll kill you Sirius.' I chuckled. Sirius must've took that as a yes because he started walking towards Severus. 'Now, Snape. I think we need to have a conversation, mate.' Sirius spat.

'What do you want, Black? You're nothing but a blood traitor! A no good blood-' Severus was cut off from his rambles when Sirius swiftly punched him in the stomach. 'Y/n, are you actually going to let him do this to me?' I stayed silent. 'Wow. You're just as pathetic as that father of yours. Still working at the ministry is he? Having to marry you off to Regulus Black to get money! How pathetic!' Snape huffed.

I watched as Sirius' eyes turned dark. 'Don't. EVER. Talk. To. My. Girlfriend. Like. That.' Sirius stated before throwing a punch across Snape's face. The pucnch caused Snape's nose to bleed. 'Fight back like a man Snivellous.' Sirius growled. Severus was laying there on the floor, he fell when Sirius hit him. 'Well I would have if you didn't punch me every two seconds. Taking out your anger for your parents I see.' Snape snarked. Just as Sirius was about to punch him again, Snape jumped up and punched Sirius right in the gut. Sirius didn't even flinch. 'Wow Snivellous. I was expecting you to be weak, but not that weak!' Sirius chuckled. His chuckling didn't last long because Snape then threw a much stronger punch at Sirius' stomach. I just stood and watched the scene. Sirius had fallen to the floor and Severus was kicking him. Once I regained control of my instincts and realised what was going on, I snapped.

I walked straight up to Snape and dragged him away from Sirius. 'You better not have just done that Snivellous.' I growled. 'Oh but I did, I really did do it y/n.' Severus responded. I had enough. I quickly punched him in the face, I felt the skin on my knuckles split from the force I used. I had blood on my hands, a mix of the blood from my knuckles and from Severus' nose.  I then kneed him where it hurts, causing him to fall to the floor then rushed to help Sirius. 'Stay the hell away from us. All of us. That includes Lily, James, Remus and Peter.' I spat at Snape as I helped Sirius up and walked to Lily's house.

I walked up to the door, supporting a slightly bloodied and bruised Sirius. Lily was at the window and when she saw us, she ran straight to the door and opened it for us. 'In Godric's Name! Sirius what happened?!' Lily exclaimed. James came up too and helped Sirius to the kitchen. 'Oh my Merlin! Y/n look at your knuckles! What did you two do?' Lily was obviously in shock of the state Sirius and I were in. 'You should see Snivellous.' I let out a small laugh. I saw a flash of concern in Lily's eyes. 'Don't worry Lils, he'll be fine. His mother is a witch, she'll be able to use episkey or something on him.' I shrugged. We followed James and Sirius into the kitchen where Lily had a first aid kit set out.

James was slowly wiping my knuckles with this weird medicine thingy Lily gave him. It stung. Lily was busy attending to Sirius who was really badly hurt, since she knew the most about Muggle medicine. 'How hard did you two hit him?' James whispered. 'Well, Prongs. I hit him hard enough to split my knuckles so let's just say he was in worse shape than both of us.' I snickered. James flashed me a quick smile before Lily scowled at us both. 'Wow! We need to come up with a tougher nick name for you! Cotton doesn't sound badass enough!' James whispered. 'Nah, I like Cotton, it's misleading.' I smirked. James was now wrapping bandages around my hands. 'Is he going to be alright Lils? Yknow since we can't use magic to help..' I mumbled. Sirius had fallen unconscious when Lily and I came through, he was sat along a couple of dining room chairs. When we showed up, Lily asked her parents to go out for a couple hours knowing this wouldn't end well. 'He'll be fine y/n, just a bit bruised and have a few cuts..' Lily mumbled. I'm guessing he fell unconscious from the number of times Severus kicked him, landing a couple of kicks on his head before I managed to pull him away from Sirius.

Lily eventually finished up with Sirius. I was crouching on the floor next to the chair when James spoke up. 'Lily, can I talk to you upstairs alone for a bit?' He asked. Lily nodded and left, James sent me a quick smile, probably realising I wanted to be alone with Sirius. I sat down and brushed a couple of hairs out of Sirius' face. He squirmed a little bit didn't wake up. 'Well, looks like you've had an influence on me, Black.' I whispered, looking at my knuckles for a second. I looked back up to see Sirius, he hadn't moved at all. I placed a kiss on his forehead. 'You better wake up soon you doofus. It may not seem like it all the time, but I do really care about you.' I mumbled while looking at the floor. 'You care, do you?' I heard a weak voice whisper. 'Merlin Sirius! You scared me!' I laughed. 'Back to my question, you care do you?' Sirius smirked. I nodded. He slowly sat up and faced me. 'Okay, Euphemia and Fleamont will be here in about 30 minutes, we took a while with Snivellous then you were out cold for around 40 minutes. Want to go see what Prongs and Lily are doing?' I asked. Sirius nodded and carefully got up, taking my hand as he did.

We walked upstairs and tried to figure out which room Lily and James were in. I saw a door slightly open and a small crack of light coming from it so I went up and knocked on it. There was no answer but I heard a giggle from Lily so I opened the door. The sight before me could not have been more perfect! James and Lily were laying there, on her bed, hugging while James was tickling Lily. 'Please, please! Say this means you two are like dating!' I smirked. 'Uh, well..' Lily trailed off. 'Of course it does!' James announced. Lily blushed wildly while James hugged her. 'Now we can go on double dates like I suggested!' Sirius said. We all laughed then Sirius and I jumped onto the bed next to Lily and James. Sirius sat behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. We talked the rest of the night away until Lily's parents came back. 'Lily! Your friend's parents are here!' I heard a woman shout, I'm assuming she is Lily's mother. 'Okay mum!' Lily shouted. 'Bye Lils.' I smiled as I gave her a hug. 'Bye y/n/n.' She smiled back. 'Bye Lily!' Sirius smiled and gave her a quick hug. 'Bye Sirius!' She replied. 'Bye Jamie..' she mumbled. James pulled her into a tight hug. 'See you in around a week Lily.' James whispered.

We got into a Muggle taxi and headed for the Potter's. 'Sirius, Y/n. Why are the two of you wrapped in bandages?' Euphemia asked us. 'We, sort of beat up Severus.' I mumbled. Euphemia just nodded. 'I won't even try to question it.' Fleamont huffed. We all got back to the Potters' and headed inside. Definitely the craziest Christmas I've had. I thought.
