Sophia

I tried to cover as much marks I could by wearing a full sleeves mustard floral print maxi dress. I put my hair to the front on my neck covering the hickeys from my neck to shoulders both sides. He will get mad if I used make up. But this is embarrassing. I let out a sigh as I left my room. I met Caprice in the hallway going downstairs too "Heya!" she said cheerfully as always. She has that infectious smile. You smile automatically seeing her smile. "Hi" I replied and smiled at her. I hear someone laughing hard as I looked over Caprice I saw Ricardo running towards us and Don chasing him. I can't imagine mafia brothers behaving like normal boys. All of a sudden Ricardo pulled me between them hiding behind me saying "Cinderella help me your "Devil" charming has gone mad" giving reference from the fairytale and using Devil instead of Prince charming. He was so correct in this matter. But his gesture made me shocked. I don't know how to react. I was scared of Don too. "Ric give me that phone before I kill you" I heard Don warning his brother. "Why brother this phone has made my millennium. Let everyone see how the mighty Don apologizes like a four year old kid holding his ears" he laughed showing the picture. Don was literally holding his ears. Though that was such a sweet thing but it was funny. Caprice laughed hard even I couldn't control and let out a small laugh but immediately stopped as my eyes met his. I am not going to take his wrath in this. He pulled me so hard from my arm that I almost fell behind him but he slowed down so I could catch my gripping. "You are so dead" he said to his brother running after him again. My jaw dropped as he kicked him in the gut when he caught him. He catch the phone said while pressing some buttons on it which, I guess is deleting the photo."This was making me run like this" and he pulled his ears hard that made him winced too saying "and this is for making me apologize like a "four year old"". "Okay I am sorry, I am sorry" he blurted and he left him. They burst out laughing after a moment and bro hugged each other. I have never heard Don laughing. And this was the most magical sound. I never wanted it to stop. I was staring at him with smile on my face when I felt an elbow nudge "someone's drooling" Caprice teased me. I blushed and shook my head and we move downstairs.

The brothers were discussing some Mexican tension over the breakfast, I felt Don's anger raising, his body got tensed and he clenched his jaw and the mention of someone name Russo. I wonder who is he but I have no intention to pry in this mafia bullshit. I am already deeper than I should be. I involved myself in my food. Don got up from the table and I stood up in a haste too. I was still eating but I can't keep sitting when he is standing there. I was fidgeting with my fingers not knowing what to do or say but then he told me to finish my breakfast and he will come back in evening. He was not angry and that calmed me down and I smiled. He kissed me lightly and left.

It was afternoon and me, Alysia and Caprice were hanging out in the garden. "Hey let's go shopping. It's been so long I went to mall" Caprice said all of a sudden. "But Signorina didn't we go last week" Alysia said. "That's what I am saying it's been so long, duhh and more importantly now Sophia is with us too. C'mon Sophia you want to go, right?" "I-I don't know if I should. I haven't asked Don if I could." So call him and ask him". She said in an obvious tone. "I don't have a phone" I said. "Ohh, No worries. I have to ask Master too. I will tell him to inform Don." She said as if its nothing but its Don, I am not getting a good feeling about this. "I don't know if it's a good idea." I tried to avoid this act which can be judged as both defiance and disrespect. I am starting to sweat thinking of the consequences. "You are not a prisoner here sweetie, Don will give you permission. Relax, I understand you are here for him but you also have your life and you need to live it. How will you keep him happy if you aren't?" She retorted. here for him, these words gave me a reality check again, but I guess may be she is right I mean it will feel good to go out for once hangout like normal teenagers.

Before I could say something she already dialed the number and was asking Ricardo for going to mall. I heard her saying to ask Don if I could go. She hung up saying a "Yes Master". I was curious what my master has said because apparently everything is now his choice when it comes to my life. I really wanted to go it's being years since I have been to any mall. "Well..?" I asked her. "Don was busy in a meeting. But Master said it's ok if we go. He said he will inform Don" "I am not sure if I should be going. He will get angry I don't know, I am not sure" "Relax Signorina, Signore Ricardo will inform him and we won't be going alone anyway. There will be Antonio with us" "and Julio too" Caprice said. "Yeah, Master said to take Julio as Sophia's bodyguard along with mine " "See Signorina Julio is Don's most efficient bodyguard he has assigned for you. So that means he will be ok with you going out." "Are you guys sure I really don't want to anger him" I don't think my body can take any more of his temper I felt as I hold the back of my neck and winced lightly. "Oh God you are thinking so much. We are going and that's final. If you are worried we will come back soon, how about an hour. Will that ease you up? Don will be home by evening by then you will be back ok". "I guess" I said thinking that this might be ok if I am here before him "Yayyyy" They both chirped together. "I will just go get ready" Caprice said in her excitement. She went to change and so did Alysia. I too touched up my make-up. I didn't change because I needed a full covering dress. And this was as good as any.
