"I know. I'm looking after him chill the fuck out will you? The nurse said he just needs rest right? Yeah I know. Yeah I know that's why stop bugging me."

Gun slowly regained a little bit of his consciousness. He was tucked in a very comfortable blanket and it felt almost heavenly. Well, not until he fluttered his eyes and the blinding white light was the first thing to aggressively greet him from his nap.

"Hell.." Gun lowly cursed as he shut his eyes tight. His eyes stung when it made contact with the light, he immediately turned his head to the side.

"Alright. Take care. Bye." Gun faintly heard someone talking.

He turned to where the person was talking and he found his sister.

"Jane?"

"P' Gun? Hey, you're awake," Jane immediately went to her brother and sat at the edge of the bed, her torso facing her brother. "How are you feeling now?"

Gun groaned slightly. "Fine.. I suppose." he responded. However, the way his whole face scrunched in pain proved otherwise.

"You are so not fine." Jane stated the obvious, worried for her brother. "Do you maybe want to go home now?"

"Yeah.. But I'm forgetting something." Gun placed his hands on his face, covering his eyes with his hands from the unnecessary light making his eyes and head hurt.

"What is it?"

"Wait. Let me just-- r-recall.." Gun responded, his breath suddenly uneven.

"Please don't treat me as if I'm a nuisance you want to get rid of. That feeling sucks, you know."

"Off." was the first name that Gun thought and Gun muttered, he sat up as he wore a serious frown in his face before trying to find the man in the room. He's not here. he thought.

"Where's Off?" Gun turned to Jane and asked.

"Off? Oh he left, but he did say he'll be back soon."

"W-Why did he leave?" Gun shyly asked, turning his head to the other side where Jane wouldn't see. But Jane's eyes were fast enough to catch the glimpse of Gun's pink tinted cheeks and ears.

"Hmm.." Jane smiled before answering. "Who knows. He's a mysterious man after all isn't he?" she then stood up, and walked around the room.

"Mysterious? Pft!" Gun suppressed his urge to laugh. "He's not mysterious one bit." he stated, still looking at the window beside him. All of a sudden, a small smile was playing on his lips.

"How could he be mysterious? He may be unpredictable at times, but I don't think he's mysterious." The sun is setting. I wonder if Off sees the same sun I am seeing now. "Off is too plain.. and nerdy too.! He was always around books. He seemed like an ordinary boy, but a weird one for a college student that is." he continued, as if he was talking to the sun he was admiring, not really giving a single shit if Jane heard him. He just continued like a madman-- A mad-inlove-man. I wonder when Off will come back.

"He even left a bad first impression to me! That boy seriously.. Can you believe that he just barged into the room with disheveled hair and wrinkled clothing? On top of that he even thought I was going to do something bad to him!" Gun laughed internally, remembering the time they first met. Thank you Off. Gun thought, he didn't particularly knew the reason why he was suddenly grateful to Off in his mind. But he felt like he needed to just say it.

"When we first met, he thought I was onto something bad when I asked him to do something. I just wanted to tell him that his buttons were messed up! Hahaha.. I'll never forget the look on his face that day I met him." Met. Met him. First time I met him.
