Uruaka and Selo roamed the halls of U.A. Selo has no idea where Uruaka was taking her, but she trusted her. Selo then bumped shoulders with someone. Looking back, he had spiky blonde hair and red eyes.
"Watch it extra." "Ex...tra..?" "Yeah, extra!" "Leave Tako alone! She can't speak Japanese!" "So this octopus loser can't even speak Japanese!? Maybe she should get out of U.A. then!" Selo then turned and punched the blonde. She then pointed her octo shot at him and pulled the trigger. A glob of purple ink came out, hitting the blonde square in the chest. He fell back as his clothes started the burn. "What the hell!?" Selo lowered her weapon, not realizing the ink was burning their clothes. It didn't seem to burn their skin, however. "Interesting, why did he not get splatted? Is it because he's human?" Uruaka looked frantic, pulling Selo away from the blonde. "Hey extra, you'll pay!!" Sparks flew from his hands. "DIEEE!!" He lunged forward with a right hook, explosions coming out of his hand. Selo changed forms and ducked under it. She changed forms again and ran. "Not... now..." Selo ran towards the nearest staircase. She knew when she's been beat. She continued to run up the stairs, explosions going off behind her. She then ran across the next floor, passing various signs labeling classrooms. "Get back here!" That kid was still chasing her? Geez. Selo decided to try and enter one of the rooms. She then ran into a tiled room, with stalls. She sighed as the lights turned on. There were two boys, both of which seemed like they were looking at something on their phones. Selo then realizes she didn't have her phone on her and left it in her bedroom back at the barracks. The two boys looked at her, seeming flustered. One had yellow hair with a black streak in it, and the other... was that even hair? The balls on his head couldn't qualify as hair. She then put her ear against the door and listened as the explosion sounds faded away. She sighed out of relief. She then looked at the two boys, who were flustered and confused.
"We're you just running away from Bakugo?" The yellow-head asked. So that was his name. "Where... Nezu..?" She asked. The other boy looked at her, drooling.
"You're looking at hi-" he was smacked upside the head. "Don't mind him. Follow me." The yellow-head then walked out of the room, Selo following. "My name is Denki Kaminari, but you can call me Denki." "Den...ki..." "What's your name?" Selo thought for a moment. "Tako." "That's a nice name! Especially for someone as sweet as you~" Kaminari tried to flirt with Selo, but Selo looked at him confused. "I do not... understand." Selo was glad she heard the phrase so many times, she could almost say it perfectly. "Ohhhhh... my bad." They arrived in front of a door. "This is Nezu's Office. Catch ya later!" Kaminari waved as he went back to the room from before. Selo waved and turned to the door. She knocked.
"Enter!" Selo couldn't exactly understand but she opened the door. She was greeted by a creature that looked like a mouse. They had a scar over one of their eyes, which amazed Selo, considering they didn't seem blind. "Ah, I don't seem to recall who you are. What's your name?" "Tako..." "Tako, alright. What brings you to my office?" "Learn... U.A..." "You want to learn here?" "I... don't... Japanese..." "You don't understand Japanese?" Selo nodded. Nezu then turned to his phone and pushed some buttons. Selo couldn't understand anything he was saying. Someone then walked into the room, looming over Selo. Nezu then started talking to the strange man. He had long black hair and a thin gray scarf. He reeked of moldy apples and cat hair. They started to talk.
"What is it Nezu?" "Aizawa-san, I need you to take Tako into class 1-A. She doesn't speak Japanese, so I've called for someone with a translation quirk to come assist. "Alright then." The man turned to Selo. "Kid, what's your quirk?" Selo looked at the man, confused. "What's... that..?" "You don't know what a quirk is?" "Quirk..." Selo began to think. Quirk? Is that a word for rank? Or was it for abilities? "My quirk would be octoling, I guess." The man and Nezu looked at her strangely, not understanding. She then went for the notepad and pen on Nezu's desk and drew it out. On the paper was a description of her abilities, showing how her ink and weapons work, as well as her anatomy and second form. Nezu and the man studied it for a few minutes then nodded. "So what should we call your quirk, Octopus?" Selo looked at the floor, unable to put the sounds together. "Octo..." she hesitated. Nezu then pulled out some papers regarding the school. "Please, sign here." He pointed to the top paper. She nodded and wrote her name, Selo Phis, but in octoling so they couldn't tell what her name actually was. She wasn't entirely sure why she continued to use her fake name, but she liked it. After all, Uruaka gave it to her and that made her feel good inside. Like she was repaying a debt. "Thank you. You'll start tommorow."
