Selo calmly sat at her desk while Nilotic explained to her what algebra and geometry was. Selo put her head in her hands, staring at the jumble of symbols on the text book pages.
"Tako." Selo looked up to see a boy with half red and half white hair. She looked up at him with curiosity. "Do you need help with that?" He pointed to the pages as he spoke in a monotone voice.
"Yes... help." The boy pulled up a chair and started to explain while Nulotic translated. Her head began to spin. Just as she was about to ask the boy to stop, a loud voice boomed through the classroom.
"I AM HERE, COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!!" Selo sighed and watched the boy go back to his desk. She tugged on his sleeve. "Name..?" They looked at eachother for a moment. "Shoto Todoroki." The boy turned back to his seat. The man who burst through the door introduced himself as All Might. Selo, unable to completely understand names, continued to call him Might-san, fully believing his first name was All and his last name was Might. "CLASS, PUT ON YOUR HERO COSTUMES AND HEAD OVER TO GROUND BETA." The wall opened and suitcases popped out. Selo knew none of them were for her, so she took her bag with her armor and followed the rest of the girls. The girls were having idle chat in the locker room when Selo walked in. Nilotic wouldn't join the training since she felt like she'd get in the way. Selo started to take off her uniform when she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was a pink-skinned girl with black and yellow eyes, as well as yellow horns and pink hair.
"Hiya! I'm Mina!" Selo looked at her in minor shock. "Hello." "What do you think we'll be doing for training?" "Don't know." At this point Selo already had her armor top and pants on. "Whatever it is, I wish you luck Tako!" Mina then walked out of the room. Selo slipped her inktank on and her heels. She then grabbed her weapon and walked into the light. Everyone was already there and All Might was explaining the rules. Selo could only catch bits and pieces. Heroes, Villains, Teams, Good luck. He then paired everyone into teams. Selo then saw a familiar pink ball of joy. "We're on the same team! So exciting!!" Selo nodded. Mina kept trying to strike up conversation and excitement but Selo just couldn't understand her. All Might then drew lots on who would verse who. The first battle, Izuku and Uruaka versus Iida and Bakugo. This would be interesting.Mina and Selo watched it all play out on the big screen. Bakugo injuring Midoriya, Uruaka using a pillar like a baseball bat, and Iida doing his best to be a villain. Selo looked at Mina. It was their turn.
Selo could care less about who they were against. As long as they could complete the objective, they were fine. The goal is probably on the top floor. I'll start there. Selo shot at the wall as Mina watched. Selo looked at Mina then pointed at the main door. "Search." Selo then shifted forms, her white tentacles becoming the same shade of purple the ink was, and swam up the walls. Mina then ran into the building without a second thought.
After they separated, Selo continued to ink and swim wherever she went, making a trail of sorts. She noted this and decided to stop inking the floor. She opened a door and saw the mock weapon, unguarded. They must be looking for Mina and I in the hallways. Not a good move. Selo swiftly ran and touched the weapon, earning a victory for her and Mina. After that, she walked over to the nurses office, not even bothering to change. After a while of wandering, she finally found the Infirmary. She peeked in and saw Midoriya on the bed. He looked as if he was fading in and out of conciousness due to a lack of energy.
"He'll be alright deary, don't you worry." Selo looked at the little old lady who was sitting at a computer.
"Nilotic. Where?" Selo needed to find her translator so she could understand the woman. "I'm right here Tako." Nilotic was sitting on the bed across from Midoriya's. "Figured you'd come here. He is your friend after all." Nilotic gave Selo a soft smile. Selo returned it and looked at the sleeping boy. She sighed, but didn't think much of it. She went to leave when Midoriya started to stir in his sleep.
"Tako... don't..." he started to mumble. Selo looked at Nilotic. "He doesn't want you to leave, Tako. You should stay." "Shouldn't I change out of my armor and go to learn?" "You can change in the bathroom. Class can wait." Selo nodded and left the infirmary to the nearest bathroom.1st Person POV, Midoriya
I stirred in my sleep, hearing faint voices in the background. I tried to block them out so I could continue this amazing dream I was having. Tako was sitting next to me on a mountaintop as we looked out at the sunset. The sun reflected in her eyes as she gazed with amazement.
"Do you like it Tako?" She turned her head towards me, her lips curled into a smile.
"Its beautiful, Izu. Just like you." Her faint smile became a toothy grin. She then got up and walked away. "Tako, don't go..." When she was out of my sight, I was greeted with silence for a few moments until I woke up. Recovery Girl was standing over me and Nilotic was sitting across from me. It was just a dream after all. I'll make it a reality someday.3rd Person POV, Selo
Selo walked back into the room, hearing small mutters and hushed whispers. To her surprise, Midoriya was already sitting up. Do humans normally recover this quickly?
"Ah, hello Selo!" Selo did a small wave. "You... okay?" "Yeah, I'm alright. I might need some help getting home." Selo nodded and grabbed Midoriyas things and her own, which were at the foot of the bed. "I'll... back." She went to leave the room when Midoriya called out to her. "Where are you going?" "Home." Selo left the room and soon after left U.A.1st Person POV, Nilotic
I sighed as I watched Tako leave the school.
"She is an odd one, isn't she?" I look back at Midoriya. "Where'd she even come from?" Silence filled the room for a bit, until the Midoriya spoke up. "We don't know."
