The Kidnapped Queen

Chapter 1-The news...

"What!?!?!" The young women declared.
"Sweetie, calm down."
" No! How can I calm down after what you told me mother!?" She replied back to her mother.

What is happening you may ask? Well my mother and father just told me that they were planning on marrying me off to another kingdom. If it was you, you would be upset. Let me introduce myself. I am Queen Eliza of Wistaria. I was 16-years-old when I received this news. I was the princess of Canataria at the time. To be honest, I shouldn't have reacted that way. Especially to my parents, the King and Queen. Anyways let me start with the beginning of my story.

I was born into a royal family in the country of Canataria. My parents, the King and Queen, we're loving people. They protected me and my younger sister as much as possible. One day they called me to their study. As a royal princess I've been taught that my obligation is to my country and my family. So I already knew that one day I would be married off to some random kingdom. The fact that I was upset was very immature of me. To this day I feel embarrassed when ever somebody talks about it.

As I entered the study I saw both my parents talking to each other. It seemed like a normal day to me. I never expected for me to get told that I would be getting married to a random prince. Well they saw me enter and stopped their their conversation. They both looked at me with sympathy as if my horse just died. I asked what was wrong and they didn't reply. I then greeted them formally with a "Mother and father, you summoned me?" They looked at each other then at me. That is when I got the news of my engagement.
