Today's tasks weren't very difficult. Actually, I was done early with almost all of my assignments ahead of time. In the middle of my teacher explaining how to do some of the equations during math, I had begun zoning out. I didn't have much difficulty doing the material being taught so my brain naturally had begun dazzling out of reality. For some reason, my head went straight to Kaito. I started thinking about our very first date, to our latest. Every single second I spent with him didn't feel like a waste, however, the closer we got, the more his flaws had begun to show. Of course, I was aware that even Kaito had flaws, everyone does, but I guess they were just a surprise to me. Now, it wasn't like he didn't trust me or vice versa, but sometimes I guess he tended to have a jealousy problem. It wasn't anything extreme and fortunately he wasn't posseceive, but I hoped that these minor problems didn't turn into anything big. I just didn't know how to bring it up without wanting to make him feel as though this was something serious for us.
My train of thought was interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing suddenly. Everyone around me focused their eyes onto me as I attempted to turn my phone off as fast as I could. My teacher gives me an agitated look as she sets her chalk down and crosses her arms. "Itsuki, please turn that device off. Next time it's detention." I apologize and as I begin turning my phone off, a text message from the unknown caller shows up.
"Hey, is this Eiichi Itsuki?"
I ignore the message for now and proceed to follow the instructions of turning the nuisance of a phone off. Most students turned their attention back to the crook teacher, and some like the ones behind me snicker in laughter at how I had gotten flustered. By now, I had learned to simply pretend like they're not there, but hearing laughter after any little move I made, did begin to bother me I must admit. Students here had started paying more attention to me since I was around Kaito often or even from the rumor that went around last year that spread like wildfire but was dismissed after some time. By the time I had become a second year, everyone had at least heard of my name. If it wasn't for this occurrence, not even the new first years would pay attention to me. I didn't mind the attention sometimes, but there are times when I wished I still remained invisible to my peers.
