Akiyama seemed to have been understanding of what happened and accepted my apology. I still proceeded to say how badly I felt for my poor actions and that I hadn't meant a single thing I said. I can see why Eiichi had grown intrigued by this guy, he wasn't bad at all. I felt like a part of the weight I'd been carrying had been lifted off my shoulders, but my main objective now was to fix things with Eiichi. I wasn't sure how just yet, but I didn't want to give up yet. Perhaps ever. On the bus ride home, I felt as if I could breathe once again. My body didn't feel as tense.

Once I got off I walked to my place and was going to commence with coming up with a plan with how to solve things with Eiichi, but became quickly staggered when I saw a brown haired boy with the jacket I had given him at my door. He kept hitting the door and I heard weeps coming from him, and his hands seemed to be covered in his very own blood. I speedily gathered myself together and went over to him. "Eiichi..? What are you doing? Are you okay what's-"

There were tears rolling down his cheeks, fear and regret in his eyes, maybe even a hint of hurt, but there was also persistence. I hadn't a clue as to how long he'd been standing there punching a door just to reach inside helplessly. But it didn't seem as if he was going to give up just like that. "Kaito.." He said under his breath, yet I could still hear his voice crack. Then, he broke down right in front of my eyes, he got up and ran to me and I felt a warmness enter my body. The coldness that overtook me was nonexistent to me. I didn't need the high anymore. I didn't want it anymore. He repeated my name again, but louder and sobbing. I gripped at me so tightly and I felt him refusing to ever let go. Any fear left in me had grown smaller, I didn't hesitate a single second to do the exact same to him, and I felt warm weeps escape from me that I'd been holding in. "I love you, Eiichi."
