🍋 LEMON's POV 🍋

I continued brushing my little sister's hair. There was silence between us. She still had tears in her eyes. I felt.. sorry for her. I wish I never enrolled her into the Junior program. I wish I never let her onto the dropship. I would've done anything to make sure she was safe.

"I-I don't want to die.." she stuttered. "It's alright Daisy" I told her. I grabbed a hair band. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you". She nodded, agreeing with me. "But who's going to protect you?" she asked me. "If you die.. then I won't have anyone else". I considered that thought for a moment, then carried on tying her hair into two buns. "I'll make sure that at least you can get out alive" I said to her. "There's gotta be some escape pods here".

I inserted a few Hello Kitty hairpins into her hair and grabbed the mirror from my bedside table. "How do you look Daisy?" I asked her. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. "I love it!" she said with a grin. She hugged me. "Thanks brother!" she chuckled. "No problem Daisy" I laughed.

She always loves it when I put her hair into cute hairstyles. She says it's much more fun.

"Eyy fellas!". Nutella waved at us from the cafeteria table. Daisy was still wearing her hair buns. "So what did you call this meeting for again?" I asked her. I sat down at the table. A lot of us still had bandages wrapped around parts of our body.

"We're calling a meeting becaaauuussee" she shouted. "Drumroll please!". Brooke started drumrolling on the table. "Thanks bud" Nutella chuckled. "Because we're doing a little fun friendsy activity!". "I think it would be a good time for us to socialize and find out more about our crewmates since we only have a few hours until two of us turn into monsters" Brooke explained. Some of us stared awkwardly at Nutella and Brooke when we heard the word "monsters". Two of us may be alien hosts and they might not even realise that until tomorrow.

"We're going by alphabetical order!" Nutella told us. "So the first one is... Andy!". She pointed at him like some TV host and he stood up, grumbling. 'Hey fellas" he said to us. "I'm Andromeda". "Yes, explain more to us" Nutella told him. "What else am I supposed to say??" he asked her. "I don't know" she said. "Your sexuality, family life, interests, I don't care".

"Well, I have my sister and our parents in our family" Andy grumbled. "And a dog named Ellie Gator". "Is that an NSR reference!?" Nutella shouted. "Come over here bud, you're my new pal". She ran up to him and hugged him. "Angie, get her off me!" Andy yelled. "How about, no💖" Angie told him and chuckled.

"Kay Nutty, I think that's enough hugging" Brooke told her. Nutella let go of Andy and walked back to her seat. "Show me pictures of Elle later" Nutella told him. "Next one on the list is Angie" Brooke said. Angie stood up. "My name is Angelica, call me Angie" she told us. "As Andy explain to you all, we have our mum and dad and our dog". "Anything else special bout you?" Nutella asked her. "I-I guess I did ballet as a kid when I was younger" Angie told us. "I also really like Electro Swing music".

"Very interesting" Brooke said. "Next one is...oh me". He stood up and tidied his suit. "My name is Brooke, I'm the appointed leader of our grou-". "We already know that buster!" Daisy shouted. She was adopting Nutella's high sugar intake personality. "Okay.." Brooke said. "I also have a Master's degree in Science and I really like astrology". "Kay boo, that was boring" Nutella told him. "Oh shut up" he told her as he sat down back at his seat.

"Oh! Am I next?" Daisy asked them. Nutella started counting in her head. "Yeah you're next" she told her. "Lemon's also doing my introduction with me!" Daisy said and grabbed my hand as she stood up on her bench. "I am Daisy and this is my brother, Lemon!". "My real name's actually Lee but just call me Lemon" I chuckled. "I like animals and books and Hello Kitty!" Daisy told them. "I guess I like reading" I chuckled. I actually had a lot of interests, but I could never manage to think one up for some reason whenever I was introducing myself to co-workers.

"Very cool, vibe check passed" Nutella said. "Next one... Fuchsia!". He stood up. "I'm Fuchsia! Real name is Phillip. I happen to really like watching cartoons and stuff". "Cool, we should watch the new Animaniacs reboot on Hulu when we get spare time" Nutella smirked. "Next!".

Lime put their hand up. "Yes, you're next" Brooke said. "I-I'm Lime" they said. "I'm an enby so they/them pronouns please and I really like p-plants and stuff". "Okay.. Ooh I'm next!" Nutella exclaimed. She stood up on her bench. "Hello! My name is Nutella! Real name is Amelia. I like games, cartoons and other stuff!". "I'm Pumpkin" Orange said to us. "I guess I like.. coffee and Victorian stuff". "Okay, I'm last!" Vincent said. He stood up. "Hello y'all. I'm Vincent, and I like ummm, movies and games and such".

"Okay, that's all!" Nutella said. "That's all folks, thanks for participating!". "We just wasted 10 minutes on that" Brooke told her. "Ah well" she chuckled. "You guys can go back to your rooms now!".

By the time it was time for us to go to sleep, Daisy was already asleep on her side of the bed. She was cuddling her rabbit plush. I got into the bed on my side.

I had a few thoughts running through my mind. Maybe try and find some people to make friends with before I die. Maybe I should bring a knife with me anywhere I go in case someone threatens me-. No that would be sus.

Daisy stirred in her sleep and curled up next to me. I layed there in bed, staring at the ceiling. I was going to try and get out alive with my sister no matter what. If I didn't, at least I could try and get her out alive.

I looked over at her. She was sleeping so quietly and peacefully that it looked like we weren't even in a spaceship where our lives were at risk.

I blinked back a few tears. I was going to get her out no matter what.

🥀 IMPOSTER #2 POV 🥀

I couldn't get to sleep. No matter how hard I tried. My stomach was aching and my head kept on banging. It was the parasite at work. And soon enough, I was going to be it's murderous host.

I stood up and paced around the room a few times, then plopped back onto my bed. My heart was pounding and sweat was dripping down my cheeks.
