"Is Lemon alright?" Rudy asked us. We looked at Lemon. He was shaking a lot, carrying a box of cereal for some reason. He looked... traumatised.

"I just... had a nightmare.. that's all" he told us. He shook his head and sighed. "It was about Daisy..". We looked at him reassuringly. I placed my hand on his shoulder. "It's going to be alright Lemon" I told him. "It was just a dream".

He smiled at me. "Thanks Brooke" he said. "It still kind of haunts me though". "Why don't we try and get your mind off of it?" Vincent asked him and nudged his arm. "Y'know , right?". Rudy walked over to him and whispered something into his ear.

Vincent whispered back and soon, the three disappeared. "Where are they heading?" I asked Pumpkin. "They're probably working on their project," Pumpkin told me. "They've been working on it for quite a while". I pondered the thought for a while. "You think they'd let me help?" I asked her. "I mean, I'm the brains of the group. Maybe I can speed up their process? Plus, it'd be good for bonding with the other crewmates".

Pumpkin shook her head. "They say it's a surprise. Not even I know it". She headed back into her room and I sighed. The normal routine on the Skeld was pretty boring now, especially when you're a ghost. It's been around two weeks since the alien incident and MIRAH HQ still hasn't sent any help. Those good for nothing pri-

"What'cha doing?" I heard a voice suddenly ask me. I jumped in surprise. "Sorry if I scared you" Rudy chuckled. His head was sticking out the wall. "Umm.. I'm not really doing anything" I said to him. "Just.. bored. Aren't you and the others supposed to do your project?"

"Well.. Lemon and Vincent already have it covered". He phased his whole body through the wall. "You gonna do your tasks?". "Maybe later" I sighed.

He stood beside me for a few seconds. "So, you have anything or anyone special for you back home? I have Maria for me but..". Rudy sighed. "Y'know what I mean?". "Well, I guess my mom was really special for me" I told him. "Took care of us when Dad walked out". Rudy mumbled something and nodded. "But romantically, I guess there was this one colleague of mine" I said.

It was back before I had even joined MIRAH HQ. Blonde hair. Forest green eyes. He was, pretty cute. Nice to hang around too. I guess I felt quite heartbroken back then when I found out he was straight. But that was years ago.

Rudy nodded. "I let go of him way before our Skeld mission" I told him. "I mean, he already had another life ahead of him.." I sighed. "I wish it was that easy for me to let go" Rudy chuckled. "Maria and me, are still kind of complicated..". I patted his shoulder. He continued smiling, but he looked like a faucet about to blow. The last thing he said before being ejected was for them to tell Maria that he still loved her, even though he didn't know if she still shared those feelings.

"Don't worry bud" I told him. "It'll probably take a long time for you to let go, but I know you will soon." I ruffled his brown hair. He scowled at me. "You can let go but still hold those memories" I chuckled. Rudy looked up and smiled.

"Sorry if I kind of made this a personal therapy session for me" Rudy said. "I don't mind" I told him. "We do need to bond some more after all". Rudy grinned. "How about current feelings?" he asked me. "Like umm.. you like anyone currently?"

"Why do you ask that?" I asked him. It was pretty weird for him to ask me now. "Just asking" he replied. "Can be anyone, on the ship or back on Earth. Promise I won't tell."I blushed a bit. I mean.. there was one person on the Skeld. But I don't think they like me that way.

Rudy stuck up his pinky finger. I remember when I used to do this back in middle school with the other kids. We linked pinkies. "Pinky swear" I told him. "But that was a pretty childish move". "Eh, I know" he shrugged. "Haven't done that in a long time, but whatever. So?"
