Your P.o.v

After you got through the door of your flat, you saw Liz dressed up for her date. "Hey, Liz. You look great!" Liz looks at me and smiles.

"Thanks (Y/n), how was your day?" I shrug. "Same shit, different day, you know." She nods and continues with whatever she was doing. I walk to my room and lay on my bed. I think back to earlier when Shaun was apologizing. Was he truly concerned about me? Or is he just trying to stay on both Ed's and Liz's good side? I sigh and close my eyes. I lay like that until I hear the phone being slammed into its base.

I walk out of my room. "What's going on?" I ask. I look at Liz, who looks incredibly pissed off. Oh boy, what did he do this time? I walk over to Liz and gently put my hand on her shoulder. "What happened?"

Liz looks at me. "You know how he said we would try new things?" I nod my head. "Well, instead of doing that, he suggested to go to the Winchester for dinner." I let go of her shoulder.

"He did WHAT? What the hell? Why would he do that? Nevermind, it's Shaun we're talking about." I look at her. "How 'bout this? Instead of you going to the Winchester, how about you, me, David, and Di will go out to eat?"

She nods her head. "That sounds nice. We can go watch a show and maybe go to that new Thai place."

I smile. "That sounds good. Let me tell David and Di, and then I'll get ready." She nods and walks off. I went to go find Di. After telling her mine and Liz's idea, she agrees, and she goes to tell David. I go back to my room and find my outfit.

I put on a (F/c) short-sleeved V-neck dress that stops at my knees. The pattern is beautiful spiral design. I also put on my flats, since I can't really walk in heels. I look at my hair and decide to curl it a bit. (If you don't like the outfit, you change it to how you want.)

I walk out of my room to see David and Di talking to the intercom. "She doesn't want to see you." I hear a muffled voice on the other side, but I can't hear who it is, though I have an idea. I walk over to them. "Let me guess." They look at me. "He decided to come over after being a complete and utter arse to make Liz feel better." They both nod. I open my mouth to say something, but we hear a noise at the window. I shake my head and walk over to a chair and sit.

The intercom buzzes and Shaun says something. They let him in, and when he gets into the flat, Liz walks to the bathroom. Shaun goes in after her. After a while, we hear Liz. "NO, I DON'T FUCKING WANT TO!"

I look at Di, "He's just a bundle of joy, innit he?" She shakes her head in disbelief. "Why he's like this, I'll never know."

"Well, maybe if you would stop egging him on, Lizzy wouldn't have this problem." David says. I look at him with such a look, Di drags him away.

"What, you hang with a bunch of teachers? Sorry, a failed actress and a twat? You don't even include (Y/n), and you've known her since you were little." David and Di are shocked. I just put my head down in sadness. Di walks over and hugs me.

"That's a bit harsh." Shaun responds. "Your words." Liz says. "I did not call Dianne a failed actress." Di looks a bit relieved, but when she realizes he isn't saying anymore, she gives me a pity glance.

Liz walks into the room, Shaun walking right behind her. "Seriously, let's go out somewhere, forget all this. We'll have a laugh, just the two of us. Things will be cool. Promise."

Liz looks at him. "Oh, stop making these promises!"

Shaun, confused as always, says, "What do you mean?"

I roll my eyes. "Off the top of my head? You promised you'd stop smoking when I did. You promised you'd go back to the gym. You promised you'd start drinking red wine instead of beer. You promised you'd come on holiday with me. You-"

Shaun interrupts her. "We went to Greece, didn't we?"

"We MET in Greece," Liz spits out. "At a rave." Both me and David say. I glare over at David. "It's not the same. You promised things would change." Liz finishes.

"You promised you'd get us free cable." Di mentions. I roll my eyes and look at her. "Seriously, you could've came to me with that." Di nods her head. "Yeah, but Shaun said he would do it." I shake my head as Shaun says, "I'm working on it!" Di backs off.

Shaun looks at Liz and takes out a carton of cigarettes. "Look... I can stop smoking. I can give up whenever I want. See?" He throws the carton across the room. "What was the next one?" Liz shakes her head and walks off.

David walks up to Shaun. "Basically, I think your nine lives are up-" Shaun turns towards David. "Oh, get fucked four-eyes! Why don't you go out with her, you love her so much?" David goes red and replies with, "I don't know what you mean by that." Shaun looks at David with a 'really' face and walks towards where Liz walked off to, but he stops a little when he comes near me. I get up, give him a glare, and walk to Di, who is depressed with the whole thing with David. Shaun continues to Liz.

"I don't know what he meant by that." David tells us, well, tells Di. I just look at him and look back at Di, reassuring her.

A couple minutes later, Liz brings out Shaun out and throws him out of the building. I feel sad for him, but I mean, he brought it on himself. You don't always take your girlfriend or boyfriend to the pub. Every. Single. Night. I mean, I do go to the pub almost every single night, but it's just me.

Liz turns to us, "Do you guys still want to go out?" We nod our heads, and we head out. Liz ended up having one of the best nights of her life.
