Chapter 7
Elsa
I calmly walked across the street with Rapunzel following me. As I continued to walk, I turned my head to see a car heading toward me. I screamed and protected myself and the car stopped.
I opened my eyes to see Rapunzel and Jack. Jack got out of the car.
I widened my eyes.
"It's you?! Ugh! I've had enough of you!" I said and crossed my arms. Jack walked up to me and looked me up and down.
"You're Kandis right?" He asked. I huffed and stepped on his foot. He grunted and stood awkwardly.
"Shut up. If I see your face again after this..." I trailed off and stormed off as Rapunzel followed me. The director stopped the scene and clapped.
"Good job. Now, bring that camera over to Jack." He said. His name was Mr. Williams. He was weird, since he's usually called Genie. I have no idea why.
The took the camera up to Jack and we all watched. Hiccup went out the car and stood next to Jack.
"She's something special." Hic said and nudged Jack. Jack shrugged him off. "Whatever, let's get going." They both got back in the car. Jack started it and the scene ended.
We continued to shoot the rest of the day. It went along well.
I still have no idea why I said that to Jack. It's been a week since I said so.
Especially since I might have feelings for him. I bet he doesn't, it's just weird since he kissed me.
We arrived back at the house after awhile, and it was late. Everyone was sleeping, but I'm not sure how I'd sleep tonight.
When it was 11:30 at night, I was in the kitchen drinking coffee. Anna was busy, she was on tour already. My parents were at work more often, leaving me with no one to talk to.
I heard foot steps and looked at who was approaching me. It was Rapunzel. She stood next to me.
"How are things going with you and Jack?" I asked and drank some more coffee. She scoffed.
"Things are going nowhere. Thanks to you. He is obsessed with you. Ugh. You're ruining all my plans." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"Like what? Him falling in love with you and getting married without any complications? It doesn't work like that, sweetie." I said and put the coffee away.
She was about to say something, irritated as I walked past her up the stairs. I walked into my room and shut the door behind me.
I sat on my bed and heard Mer shuffle.
"... Are you awake?" I asked.
"...Yeah. What's up?" She replied, sitting up.
We faced each other sitting on our separate beds.
"Boy problems." I said and put my face in the pillow. "Let me guess. You still have feelings for Jack but you're not sure if he likes you back." Merida said and I nodded.
"And, Rapunzel still likes Jack." I nodded again. "I'm like, 90% sure that Jack likes you." She said and I made eye contact with her.
"How so?" I asked.
"The way he looks at you. He doesn't look that way to any other girl. And he got you that locket thing." She said. The more tired she was, the less thicker her accent.
It was funny.
"Whatever. How's your love life?" I asked. She scoffed.
"Not very exciting." She replied. "Who's the guy in your love life? Well, the guy you have feelings for." I asked.
"It's awkward, but it's Hiccup. He has a girlfriend. You and Jack are about to start dating, just watch. And I'm over here, sitting in my room playing Clash of Clans."
I awed. "It's okay Mer! I don't even know if they talk anymore. They probably don't." I said.
We kept talking about our life issues until we fell asleep. Tomorrow would be Saturday, I plan on staying in here with Merida.
The next morning, I felt myself shaking. I opened my eyes.
"Whaaaat?" I groaned and the shaking stopped. Merida was the one who shook me.
"Hiccup said he has to talk to me so I have to leave the house, I'll be back in a few hours." She said.
"Kay." I replied and Merida left the room. I sat up and turned on the TV in the room. Someone knocked and walked in.
It was Jack. He walked over to the bed and sat in front of me. He was wearing sweats and a shirt.
"Remember that game we're playing?" He asked and I nodded. I rubbed my eyes and yawned.
"What about it?" I replied and I hesitated, but rested my head on his shoulder.
"... Can we stop playing it?" He asked.
"Why?"
"Because we both know that there's a loser." Jack said and I nodded before sighing.
"Me." We both said at the same time.
"Wait, what?" I asked.
I lifted my head and looked Jack in the eye. His eyes flickered to my lips, then back to my eyes.
"Game over?" He asked and I nodded. "Good. So I can do this."
He climbed on top of me, and roughly but passionately put his lips on mine.
Jack
Elsa pulled away and I lied down next to her.
"Are we still considered as just friends?" I asked. Elsa shrugged. "What about Rapunzel? How are we going to deal with her?" She asked.
"I already did. I straight up told her to leave you alone. I can't wait until we finish shooting the movie. So I can stay away from Rapunzel." Jack replied and I grinned.
Elsa sat up and sat on me.
"What are you doing?" I asked, smirking slightly.
"Just remember, we're friends." Elsa said and ruffled my hair.
"Friends." I repeated.
She placed her lips on mine as I gripped her waist and closed my eyes.
Friends. Sure. For now.
