Chapter 19
Jack
I was wearing a striped shirt with a denim jacket on top. I had on brown pants and my shoes were purple-ish black-ish.
I was using my phone as I was getting my hair fixed. I was outside of my dressing room with my hair stylist, Jasmine.
The two of us talk usually since we spend a lot of time together. As I was waiting for her to finish, Rapunzel walked up to me.
"Hey. We need to talk." She started off.
I rolled my eyes.
"What is it now, Rapunzel?" I asked and Jasmine looked me in the eye, she didn't quite like Rapunzel either. I've told her a lot about Rapunzel, I even told her what Elsa's dad is paying me to do.
I can trust her, we've known each other for awhile.
"About Mr. Summers. Can you tell your hair stylist to hurry up?" Rapunzel replied and I watched as Jasmine rolled her eyes but started to fix my hair faster.
"Just say it. It's not like she's going to say anything." I said and Rapunzel rolled her eyes, and mumbled a "whatever."
Soon Jasmine finished and she was forced to leave by Rapunzel.
"You're so rude. But anyway, what did you want to tell me about Mr. Summers?" I asked.
"He said that whatever he had planned for us to do in 8 months got changed, so he had to make it to 6 month from now." She replied.
"What? Why?" I asked and she shrugged.
I rolled my eyes. "Quit acting like you hate this. You set this whole damn thing up so that Elsa and I won't be together anymore. I bet you even told Mr. Summers to tell me to stay away from Elsa." I ranted.
"Clever boy. Mr. Summers and I are on the same side. I want you and he doesn't want you to be with Elsa. He's only letting you date Elsa for her sake. If you have something to say about it, then go talk to him. It won't be my fault if you lose your career." Rapunzel whispered harshly.
"You make me sick. I flirted with you in high school. So what? It's not like we dated. We only talked and you kept thinking of it the wrong way. Elsa is the one for me. Not you. Not ever. Get that through your head. No matter what, Elsa will be the one I love. I'll explain it to her when the time is right." I said and she grew angry.
"Look here, Roberts. I don't care about how much you love Elsa. We had a deal with her dad and you agreed to it. If you don't do this, you'll lose your career and I might lose mine. Mr. Summers is a powerful man, he helps produce most of the movies and if you disrespect him, he will be able to bring down your fame. I don't want to lose mine either. No matter how much you try to explain it to Elsa, who do you think she'll trust more? You or her dad?" She said and waited for me to answer.
I didn't.
"Think this through. You should've thought more before you agreed to do this. I admit that I want to do this, but it's wrong. And I also admit it's not fatherly to do this to his own daughter. But you belong with me. Anyway, Mr. Summers is going to send us an explanation of what we're supposed to do in a few weeks. It should happen from there." She said and I huffed.
"Whatever." I said and looked over at Elsa, who was already looking this way, and she turned her head away.
Rapunzel rolled her eyes but left to go in her dressing room.
"Elsa, interview time!" Mr. Williams said to Elsa and pointed to the stage. She nodded and he walked to into his dressing room.
As she was walking to the stage, I gripped her wrist. She turned around and looked at me.
