Percy POV:

I lifted Annabeth into the car and we drove home. It was getting late, and the moon illuminated her angelic face. I smiled.

We pulled up outside the house and I looked over to see Annabeth asleep.

I reached over to nudge her awake before she thrust her arms out into the air and made grabby gestures with her fists.

I laughed and picked her up as she asked and walked to my room, laying her down in my bed and taking off her shoes. I got into some pyjamas and snuggled into bed next to her, hearing her soft snores as her body rose and fell.

I got out of bed and got dressed, leaving Annabeth to sleep a little longer. She's so peaceful when she sleeps.

Dressed and ready, I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Good morning," I said softly. I stoked her hair before she reached out and karate chopped me in the neck.

I started gasping for air.

She immediately jumped up.

"Percy! Oh my god I'm so sorry! It's just habit. Wait, here," she grabbed me some water.

After a few seconds I had caught my breath.

"I'm fine," I croaked.

"Don't ever so that again! There's a reason I call you seaweed brain," she muttered the last bit under her breath.

"Come on," she said. "I'll meet you downstairs," She went into her own room to get dressed.

I opened my wardrobe and put my finger to the glow in the corner.

"Hey guys," Annabeth said, walking in.

"Percy, are those blue croissants?!" She asked, dumbfounded.

I just nodded with a mouthful of pastry.

She facepalmed.

"Blue is not the answer to everything man," Leo said, a mouthful of Cheerios.

I was dumbfounded.

"How dare you. Never cross a Lodge. I- I mean Jackson."

"You've been watching waaay to much Riverdale," Piper said.

"Well I'm sorry, it's good!" I defended.

"That's debatable," Piper said with a grimace.

We finished out (preferably blue) breakfast and got to school.

"Hey Percyyyy," Layla drawled as I walked through the school gates with Annabeth's hand in mine.

"Layla, so nice to meet you! How's the bitchness going? Oh sorry, I meant business, silly me!" Annabeth replied with a false smile.

Layla just flicked her hair and walked off in her barbie pink stilettos.

"Well, what do you have?" I asked

"We have Maths," Annabeth replied, bracing herself for a complaint.

"Whyyyy," I moaned.

"Come on seaweed brain," she said, grabbing my arm and dragging me to the room.
