REMEMBER TO VOTE

(The next day)

Annabeth POV:

It was the evening of the pool party, and the girls and I were getting ready, dabbing in last bits of makeup and making sure our hair was done just right.

A half hour later we walked out of the house to find Percy, Jason and Nico waiting outside by the cars. I heard some sort of flapping sound coming from the garage and assumed it was Leo.

"Hey Leo, get your arse in gear, we're leaving!" Jason shouted.

Leo stumbled out of the garage and into one of the cars, and we all drove off into the distance towards the pool party.

I was wearing black ripped shorts and a grey low cut tank top, my swimming costume concealed underneath my clothing like everyone else's.

We pulled up in front of a huge house which had to be the place of the pool party, you could hear beer bottles clinking and drunk teenage boys laughing behind the house, presumably where the pool was.

"Ready to enter the belly of the beast?" Percy asked. I smiled and pecked him on the lips.

"With you, always," I replied.

We walked through the house and were printed to the garden where the pool was, surrounded by sunloungers and soggy teenagers. It was 5pm, but the sun was still burning bright.

I took off my top and shorts, revealing the criosp white swimsuit underneath. Percy's eyes practically popped out of his head. I giggled as he ogled.

"You're staring," I said.

"No I'm not, I'm gazing," he replied. I laughed as he took off his shirt, leaving him in a pair of Azure swimming trunks. I looked at him and laughed, before pushing him into the pool.

"Oh no you didn't," he said, grinning.

He pulled me in by my ankle and I fell backwards into the pool. I resurfaced a second later, an astonished from plastered on my face.

"Come here," he said pulling me into him. I felt his strong arms wrap around me and pull me in, as we kissed. We pulled away after a few seconds and I nuzzled my head into his neck and smiled, while he just held me there, the most peaceful moment. Then I heard the most obnoxious voice.

"The Joe is here!" He yelled. Everyone, blinked, unimpressed. Layla cheered a few seconds later. Of course she did.
