It was the first day of my training, and Aizawa was keeping a tight leash on me.
We were doing obstacle courses, and I convinced Aizawa to let me go last. It was pretty easy, just maneuver yourself through the wreckage and get to the base as quickly as possible. Some of the other kids' quirks were interesting, and I desperately wanted to record them in my journal, but I wasn't about to have a repeat of elementary.
The highest score was 3 minutes from Todoroki who just created an ice slip and slide and ran past everything.
Soon it was my turn to go. I did some of my stretches and knelt down into a ready position for when Aizawa called start. His tired voice ran through the speakers and I shot off. I lept over the tumbled buildings and across the cracked roads. I used the lamp posts to jump across so I didn't have to use the trashed road, cutting my time down shorter. In no time I was standing on the base platform without even breaking a sweat.
"Your time was 1 and a half minutes," Aizawa said through the speakers, and in the background, I could hear people talking. I nodded my head a little, knowing I could have gone faster. I made my way back to the watch room.
Everyone fell silent when I entered, but I ignored them as I walked up to Aizawa.
"What's next?" I asked.
"Are you not tired?" He asked, not looking at me as he typed something on his computer.
"Do I look tired," I shot back, making sure to put enough attitude in my voice to make my mother have a heart attack. Aizawa glanced at me, rolling his eyes slightly.
"Run some laps if your so desperate for exercise," He sighed.
"Tch," I muttered as I walked out to the track. I crouched down again and started running, putting as much energy into it as possible.
I let my mind wander while I ran, thinking about the mission and my chances for escape. I wondered if the League of Villains would rescue me, but considering how our last encounter went I didn't think that was going to happen. I wondered if I could find a way to sneak the information out of UA and to the agency, but that didn't seem possible until I gained UA's trust. Nezu seemed like a big bridge to cross considering how smart he is. I didn't know if I could lie to him, or get anything past him for that matter, but our lessons together will show just how much I can get away with.
I saw a white line coming towards me and flipped over it, landing in a 3 point stance with my knee to the ground. I looked up to see Aizawa glaring at me with the other students behind him.
"It's time to go," Aizawa growled out, turning on his heel and walking away. I got up and followed them.
"Whoah! Did you jump over Mr.Aizawa's capture weapon? I can never see it coming!" Kaminari asked, looking at me with wide eyes.
"Fast reflexes, I guess," I shrugged. Everyone walked back to the school, most of the students keeping their distance, but Kaminari and Kirishima seemed to not care. They stood right next to me, trying to get me to talk, but I just ignored them as I walked.
I had lessons with Nezu next, and I was rather looking forward to it. I walked into his office without warning, taking in his small form.
"Ah! Midoriya! So good to see you!" Nezu smiled brightly.
"Don't call me that," I muttered, slouching in one of his chairs.
"What shall I call you then?" He asked.
"Deku, or if you like, Reaper," I smirked.
"I would rather keep your villain name out of our conversation, seeing as the whole point of you being here is to shake the villainous traits out of you," Nezu smiled. I rolled my eyes, not really in the mood to talk about how I was supposed to be turning virtuous.
