I paced Nezu's office, running a hand through my hair while I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Sir, with all due respect, that is the stupidest shit I have ever heard and you should be ashamed of yourself," I told him, making Nezu chuckle slightly.
"Mr. Deku, I understand your concern, but our pro heroes will be on high alert, and this could be a big step to taking him and his agency down," Nezu reminds.
"And you're forgetting the part where he has generals that will still work even if he's out of the picture, and even if you do plan this attack, he's strong and he will not come unarmed," I said, locking eyes with the principal.
"But it will disrupt this agency long enough for us to figure out something else, this man is the head of the agency, cut it off and it will take some time to heal," Nezu smiled, "Of course, for this to work we'll need some more information on this 'Master' person,"
"I haven't decided if I'm helping yet," I said, looking down on the creature and crossing my arms.
"You are running out of time to make a decision, and we need your intel as soon as possible," Nezu said, his voice hinting at what I should do. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, my mind running a mile per second on the different paths I can take and what's the consequences of doing them.
If I didn't help there was a good chance I would die, and if I did help there was a chance he would be taken down. But it was more than that! Master was a big part of me, he trained me, took me in, gave me a home and a purpose, trained my brain to think of Heroes as worthless people that needed to be taken down. I owed my life to him in more than one way, and if I sold him out, what would that make me?
On the other hand, he treated me like shit, always hurting me and punishing me for shit I couldn't control. He hung my mother over my head as a way to get me to do what he wanted, and his generals were always given permission to kick my ass, and if I fought back I wouldn't eat for a week.
"I'll tell you his quirks, I don't want anyone dying tomorrow for no reason," I sighed, giving in slightly. Nezu leaned forward in his chair, resting his paw on his chin, motioning for me to proceed.
"He can control fire and produce fire from his body, he also has a way of seeing where people are and what they are doing, that's what he used a few days ago to check in on me. He might have gotten more in the time I went missing, but those are the ones I knew of when I was still with him," I explained, Nezu quickly writing some stuff down on his notepad.
"We could really use your help in fighting, Deku," Nezu smiled, but I looked away.
"It's not that simple, but if it's any consolation, I'm leaning towards your team. Even if I don't help you, he'll still kill me, so I don't really see a point in standing back other than the moral part of it," I sighed.
"In the months that you have been here, you have wormed your way into many people's hearts. We will do everything in our power to protect you, despite your decision to help or stand to the side," Nezu smiled.
"I'm guessing you're referring to Aizawa, Yamada, and Kayama?" I ask.
"Along with your classmates and myself. We will make sure he cannot get to you," Nezu reassured.
"You're not going to let the other students fight, are you? They aren't strong enough!" I locked eyes with the small mouse, but he simply shook his head.
"While I will be trying to keep them away from the fight, you know how they are. I'm sure they will find a way to fight regardless of our attempts to stop them," Nezu chuckled.
