It is Saturday and I am the first one to wake up but bunny is still sleeping.

Rena: Bunny! Wake up!

I shake her until she wakes up

Bunny: ugh it's 7:30! Let me sleeppppp

Rena: ugh fine. Now I have I have nothing to do for the next two hours

Bunny is a late sleeper. Like literally when we would have our sleepovers, she would wake up so late and end up waking up earlier than her

An hour later I'm in the bathroom brushing my teeth and bunny finally wakes up.

Bunny: good morning

Rena: finally... you're up

Bunny: Well sorryyy

Rena: Dude! You need to brush your teeth, your breath smells so bad

Bunny: Okay okay

After Bunny brushed her teeth, we got dressed and then we decided to go out to town and hang out there.

Mom: Hey where are you going?

Rena: We're going to town.

Mom: Okay but make sure you stay with bunny at all times, I don't want her getting lost or anything.

Rena: Okay mom, we'll be fine. Bye

Mom: Bye

Bunny: Is this your car?

Rena: No it's my moms. I always borrow it.

Bunny: You can drive alone now?

Rena: Yeah because in California you can start driving at 16

Bunny: ooh

We put on music in the car and we drove to town.

Rena: Yes! The perfect parking space right in the front!

I parked the car and we decided to walk around.

Bunny: Ooh I want to check out that store.

Rena: Okay

We went into this store that I never heard of and it had a lot of clothes there but they were ugly so we left and continued walking.

Rena: Yo are you hungry?

Bunny: Yeah

Rena: I'm gonna find a restaurant so I can order food. Can you go find us tables over there?

Bunny: Sure

Rena: I walked to this restaurant and I waited in this long line. I was so hungry.

10 minutes later...

The line wasn't moving at all so I decided to leave and when I walked out of the restaurant, I hear this crash sound from a block away and people screaming.

Rena: What was that?!

I ran over there to see what was going on?

Rena: Um what just happened?

Lady: Someone got hit by a car

Rena: OMG

I ran closer and there was a crowd and I was trying to see who it was but I couldn't see. There was just too much people.

Rena: Who got hit?

Lady 2: A teenage girl with pink hair

As soon she said pink hair I immediately knew

Rena: BUNNY

I ran faster and squeezed through everybody and I see bunny on the ground covered in blood.

Rena: BUNNY! SPEAK TO ME!

Lady 2: Do you know her?

Rena: SHES MY BEST FRIEND

She wasn't moving and I was freaking out.

Random person: Someone call 911!

A few minutes later the ambulance and a bunch of cops came and they made everyone leave.

Cop 1: EVERYONE PLEASE LEAVE!

Rena: That's my best friend who got hit!

Cop 1: Were you with her when she got hit?

Rena: No, I was just leaving the restaurant and I heard screaming and a crash and I ran here quickly. But is she gonna be okay?

Cop 1: Im I not sure about that, it was a serious accident.

I started to cry and then a doctor walked up to me.

Doctor: Are you related to this girl?

Rena: She's my best friend. How is she?

Doctor: I'm afraid that due to this major accident... she's not able to breathe.

Rena: WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT BREATHE? ARE YOU GONNA GIVE HER CPR OR SOMETHING?

Doctor: She didn't make it on time

Rena: she's...

Doctor: Yeah. I'm sorry for your loss

I had to call my mom and tell her to get here

Mom: Hello?

Rena: (crying) MOM GET TO TOWN RIGHT NOW BUNNY GOT HIT BY A CAR

Mom: I don't have the car

Rena: GET AN UBER

Mom: OKAY OKAY

I see bunny get put on the gurney and put her in the ambulance and then my mom can.

Mom: What happened?

Cop 1: are you her mother?

Mom:No I'm renas mother

Doctor 1: I told your daughter already but she didn't make it. Her breathing stopped.

Mom: Oh my god. What are you gonna do with her?

Doctor: I'm gonna take her to the hospital

Mom: Okay

The ambulance closes and drives away and I started to cry more.

Mom: Do you have the keys

Rena: Yeah

Mom: I'm driving you home.

We went home and my mom sat me down on the couch.

Mom: How did she get hit?

Rena: I wasn't there to see it but I was at a restaurant waiting in line but it was too long and I heard a crash and i ran quickly and I found bunny on the ground.

Mom: And where was bunny when this happened?

Rena: She was getting tables

Mom: (sighs) I asked you to do ONE THING.

Rena: What?

Mom: STAY WITH HER AT ALL TIMES AND YOU DIDNT AND NOW SHES DEAD!

Rena: (cries) IM SORRY IT WAS AN ACCIDENT

Mom: You really messed up this time. Your best friend comes to visit you that you haven't seen in awhile and you kill her

Rena: I DIDNT KILL HER. THE PERSON WHO DROVE THE CAR KILLED HER

Mom: Well you should've stayed with her and this wouldn't have happened

Rena: (cries) I just don't want to talk about right now. I literally hate myself

I ran upstairs crying and I slammed the door shut.
