Chapter 7

Me and Quinton are sitting on the bleachers and I look at the list of options we can sign up for gym.

Quinton: What are the options?

Rena: There's team sports, yoga, fitness, and weight room,

Quinton: Let's do team sports, it's the only fun one on here.

Rena: I want to do that too.

The gym teacher was announcing the students by grade to go sign up and when he called juniors to come down, me and Quinton ran down the bleachers so we can sign up early.

Mr. William: what's your name?

Rena: Rena Ferguson

Mr. Williams: Okay thank you, next!

Quinton: Hey im-

Mr. Williams : Are you Quinton Griggs?

Quinton: Yeah how do you know my name?

Mr. Williams: My 13 year old daughter loves you. She watches you on TikTok all the time.

Quinton: Haha thank you

We sat back on the bleachers and then we kept talking some more.

Rena: So where are we meeting during dismissal?

Quinton: Uhh in front of the school.

Rena: Okay and I will skate to your place, but I just need the address?

Quinton: What?! What are you talking about? I'm gonna drive you, it's far from here.

Rena: Oh. I didn't know that.

Quinton: Well wouldn't it be easier for you to carpool with me?

Rena: Yeah

After gym, I went to history and then Spanish and I got bored so I decided to text Quinton during class, but my teacher caught me.

Señora Sancheź: por favor no envíe mensajes de texto en mi clase

Rena: What?

Señora Sancheź: I said no texting in my class.

Rena: Sorry Señora.

I was still bored and I wanted to see Quinton so bad and then the bell rung and I ran out the door to my locker to get my skateboard. I was riding it in the hallway and then I picked up my board so I can go downstairs and then I rode it some more and I saw Quinton outside and I opened the door.

Quinton: Hey Rena!!

Rena: Hi!

Quinton: Are you ready?

Rena: I've been ready all day!

Quinton: Well lets go.

I went into Quintons car and we drove to the sway gaming house. I was sooo excited!

We arrived and Quinton opened the door and we didn't see anybody.

Rena: Where are the guys?

Quinton: I don't know, I think they're outside.

We checked if they're outside and Quinton was right. I saw griffin, Kio, and Bryce was there visiting.

Quinton: Hey guys, oh Bryce when did you get here?

Bryce: I've been here all day

Quinton: Oh well this is Rena.

Griffin: Hi Rena, I'm griffin.

Rena: I know who you are. I'm a huge fan of sway.

Kio: I'm Kio.

Rena: Hi Kio!

Bryce: And im Bryce.

Rena: Hi

Bryce: (whispers) who is she?

Quinton: Shes new, I met her yesterday at school.

Bryce: Ohh cool.

I got a text from my mom

Mom

Mom: Hi, are you at The sway gaming house?

Rena: Yeah

Mom: Okay, I'll see you later

Rena: So are we gonna go skateboarding or what?

Quinton: Yeah lets go.

Me and the guys went outside and I was showing off my tricks and they were impressed.

Griffin: Shes really good

Quinton: I know!

Rena: Look what I can do

I was trying to do a trick where I jump in the air with the board but I missed and fell, but I was fine.

Quinton: OMG are you okay?

Rena: Dont worry I'm okay.

Quinton: Phew

Bryce: Yo, what did I miss?

Griffin: Quinton thought that Rena died.

Quinton: What the fuck? No I didn't

Bryce: What?

Griffin: She fell off her skateboard and Quinton freaked out.

Bryce: Oh is she okay tho?

Griffin: Yeah

Bryce: Okay good.

Bryce: Sooo are you gonna tell Rena about your party?

Rena: What party?

Quinton: Oh yeah, the guys are throwing me a party for my birthday but it's in like two weeks.

Rena: Oh cool! Am I invited?

Quinton: Of course! I'll give you more details soon

Bryce: It's gonna be at the hype house.

Rena: WOW really?

Bryce: Yeah

Rena: OMG I'm so glad that I moved here!

We went back inside for a little bit and then I rode my skateboard back home.
