Chapter 5: The Return of The Son

The dark blue color of an expensive-looking car entered the gigantic gate of Park's mansion, and it was Park Jimin, the youngest member of the family. He cautiously drove the car and parked the car behind the mansion in the luxury garage. The boy eventually found his way home when the sun was already high in the sky after he had been missing since last night.

He got out of the car and closed the door behind him as he was huffing heavily, feeling the heavy throb pinching his head from the inside.

"Aish," he sighed, "This is all JungHoon's hyung fault." He walked towards the main door of the mansion and had the image of his comfy bed calling for him. By only thinking about it has already made him looks like a fool as he was smiling all by himself while reaching the door, not having any idea that his whole family were actually waiting for him altogether in the living room.

He opened the door and stepped his right leg in but he paused in the middle of his way to enter the house when his eyes landed on his father's eyes who was already glaring at him deadly. "What the fuck..." he cursed lowly, realizing he had pairs of other eyes that were looking at him just like how his father was eyeing him.

"Uh," he awkwardly stepped towards them after closing the door with so much gentle. "Hi?" he said, rubbing the back of his head innocently. "What are you guys doing...here?"

"Waiting for the prince to come back home?" replied Mrs.Park with a sarcastic tone, making Jimin rolled his eyes, feeling the annoyance started to awakened inside of him.

"Where did you go?" asked Namjoon, "I call you but you didn't pick it up. Where've you been?"

Jimin looked away with a tight face before brought his eyes back to give a glare to Namjoon, "I was having my time with my friends. Wae? Problem?"

"Yes, it's a problem that because of you, we have to deal with Dad for you," Yoongi said, ignoring the betrayed look from his father beside him.

Jimin hummed and nodded while turning around, was ready to leave the living room but his father suddenly jumped in. The man stood up from the couch and walked towards Jimin with a mad look that has made the four brothers were already on their feet, ready to pull Jimin away from their father's anger explosion.

Jimin's eyes almost grew wide, looking at his father with a tiny fear that started to haunt him. "W-What?" he asked while taking a step back, making a distance between his father.

"Jimin, run!" Seokjin said and surprisingly, Jimin took his advice seriously and started to run away from his upset father. He was running to save his life all the way to his room but not expecting his father to chase after him.

It was a little chaos in the mansion, with a little scream from Jimin, begging for his father to stop chasing after him, Mr.Park's husky voice yelling to his son to stop from running away, the waves of laughter that came from the living room— everything happened so fast that now, Jimin has already stood up straight in front of his father.

He had both hands clutched together at the front, lowering his head as he wanted to pull his innocent look card out from his pocket.

"Where did you go last night?" the father asked, "Don't give me the same silly excuses again."

Jimin rolled his eyes, "Don't you realize this? You've been asking me the same question over and over again. Of course, the excuses will also be the same then."

"Did you go clubbing again?"

"Yeah, with JungHoon hyung."

"Where did you sleep last night?"

"Isn't that obvious? JungHoon's hyung place." Jimin replied with a tone of disrespect, making his father's expression hardened even more.

Mr. Park had a very heavy sigh which always happened every time he spoke to Jimin. Day after day, he found that the young boy was no longer had much respect for him as a father and it made him wondered, where did he leave a mistake when raising the boy.

Without saying anything more, Mr. Park stood up from the bed and looked at his son, "I have no nerve to speak to you anymore. You will never listen to what I say, so I won't waste my time telling you what you should do or what you shouldn't. You're already at the age of maturity. You can use your brain to think about it," he said, a sense of hopelessness as a father came to embrace him for the first time.

He raised his finger towards his son, pointing it straight to Jimin's face. "Tonight, do not go anywhere."

"What?!" Jimin right away protested, "What do you mean? Dad, I'm not 10. Don't do this—"

"You have to come with me to meet someone. Don't you dare run away like last time. I dare you."

"Wait Dad," Jimin tried to stop his father from walking away but the elder didn't glare at him, shutting the door in front of him that made his anger started to boil up on the inside. He was pissed since he had already made a plan with his friends tonight, having to cancel it at the last minute, it drove him upset terribly.

"What the fuck should I tell them?" He groaned loudly, stomping his feet on the floor as he was truly upset.
