Chapter 9 : The Beginning of War
Spreading sunrise, pinkish glow, clouds tinted, colors spread across the sky announcing the new day, oranges and reds painted across the clouds as if by a celestial hand. Jungkook woke up early in the morning as he has to go to his office earlier than usual on that day. He got a few appointments with some important clients, meaning that he'll be super busy, and had him to have a long heavy sigh slipped out in between his thin lips.
He was standing sharp in front of a big mirror, having his body being embraced entirely with a light grey suit that fits every part of his upper body perfectly, the man was looking good from the head until to the toes. The suit had brought something out of him, a self-respecting pride and confidence that had been wishing to surface for so long.
With every sharp movement he made to finish his look, he huffed and fixed his tie to look neat once again before finally walked away from the mirror that was helping him judging his outfit. He went to the table which looks like a study corner where he had put all his stuff such as wallet, phone, ring, and his wristwatch, and took everything ready on him.
He wore the shiny metal wristwatch on his left hand and look at the time and found out it was still early to go.
He hummed a melody, taking his time to eye the room from each corner to another one, finally had the realization that he hadn't taken a look into the place first since he went straight to the bed last night, feeling exhausted. He walked to the window and his eyes were placed straight to the backyard, not having any nice view to enjoy in the morning.
He now took his turned to walk to the huge shelf at the right wall, his pupils moved rapidly to see the number of mangas was arranged nicely from the top until the bottom. His eyebrows raised, "This guy is sick." He also realized some of the books were BL mangas and it makes him stayed at his place for a moment, having his face contorted into confusion.
But he put the thought aside and went to continue his tour in the room. From the empty closet, writing desk, the bathroom even though he had already used it before and until he met with the bed. The bed, the finest looking thing in the room.
He felt like he wanted to lay down once again, but he couldn't since his suit will be damaged, he needs to look neat and professional so he took that as a chance to run away from it. Now, he took his time to get his knees on the floor, bending his body forward to look at what was under the bed. He thought probably, it would be nothing but something had caught his attention.
He found a box placed at the corner of under the bed. Feeling confused and no shame of looking over something that wasn't his, he stretched his hand out to reach for the box and pulled it out. He sat down on the floor and unbuttoned his suit to be in a way more comfortable and slowly, he opened the box.
And that was the time when he knew, he regretted it.
"What the fuck..."

Jungkook walked out from his room, closing the door behind him with a long huff and went straight to reach the stairs without giving a glance towards Jimin's door. He never had a thought about the boy, whether Jimin has already back home or not. Never. He just pretended like there was no one in the house for him to care about.
He walked downstairs while both hands were busily adjusting the lapel of his suits, buttoning them to embrace his body even more neatly and strolled over towards the living room where he had his eyes caught the familiar papers on the table.
And that was when he remembered it, the session of rules making last night.
He went to pick Jimin's paper, having his left eyebrow lifted and followed by the corner of his lips, he let out a scoff at the written rules.
