Chapter 8: Making Rules
As soon as they entered the house, Jungkook placed his bag down on the dining table while being followed by Jimin from behind. The first thing he did as soon as he reached the kitchen was opening the fridge to have a drink, but the fridge was empty, of course.
"This has to be kidding me." He murmured before shutting it back and started to leave. "Where's the room?" He asked Jimin, and that was when he realized that Jimin was still a little pale and had said nothing. "Don't tell me that you truly believe in ghosts?" he scoffed.
"Yah, I'm not lying," Jimin hissed, dragging the chair to the back and took a seat, still looking a little bit frightened. "I can just feel like something was chasing me and it was so fucking dark that I can hardly see anything on the other side."
Jungkook sighed and shook his head, taking his bag back into his grip and opened his steps to walk out of the kitchen. "Then why didn't you just wait in the car?" He mumbled a question lazily before leaving the place to go upstairs to find his room.
"Jungkook! Where are you going?" Jimin quickly rose from his seat and rushed towards Jungkook with big steps to catch the boy before walking up the stairs, following the latter.
"My room," answered Jungkook with half-whispered. "Which one should I use?"
"How dare you just leave me like that really," complained Jimin while walking closed behind Jungkook. Even though every light had already been switched on in every part of the house, brightening the setting of the house beautifully but yet, the aura still has giving Jimin goosebumps all over his body.
Jungkook snorted and jammed his hand into his pocket before giving Jimin a look with a cynical smile, "Why? You scared?"
"Shut up." Jimin snapped and rolled his eyes in annoyance, pushing Jungkook away to the side as he wanted to walk up the stairs faster. Until he reached one of the hallway doors, he turned around with a cheeky grin and bigger eyes with those fantasy sparkles of excitement on the eyeballs, facing Jungkook as if he had just won something pricey.
But Jungkook only gave him a boring look.
"This is my room and that will be yours." He said while pointing his finger towards the door in front of his, excitedly. "You'll be taking Hoseok's hyung room."
"Hoseok?"
"Yes, he's my brother," he answered the boy as he opened the door to look inside of his room while waiting for Jungkook to say something back.
And a low gasp came afterward, having a tiny feel of surprise because of what he had just seen in there. Just as he had expected, everything was still there, just like how it was before and it made him beamed like a fool kid from ear to ear. "I missed this...so much."
As he was about to enter the room, he heard the door slam shut behind him which was meant to be Jungkook's room and because of that, he immediately let go of the silent moment of him recollecting the precious memories that almost aroused him at the time and quickly strolled over towards the boy's room across his, instantly giving the man's door a knock.
"Yah, Jungkook-ssi!" He almost yelled, waiting for the second time before giving a knock once again. He thought that Jungkook will open the door in 10 more seconds but still, he got no response from the inside that makes him feel the irritation had risen uncontrollably, seducing him with rage.
"This asshole really has no manner." He murmured, digging out his phone from his pocket and dialing Jungkook's number with his mouth still busy mumbling swear words to Jungkook.
