Chapter 2: The Problematic Son
The door of the meeting room slammed wide when it was being pushed by someone from the outside and the messy hair guy with a half-awakened face, undone button with a loose necktie has entered the room shamelessly.
"Sorry, I'm late." He apologized and quickly went to take a seat next to the CEO who already had a pissed look that everyone in the room can see it clearly.
"Dad, I'm sorry. I forgot to set the alarm—" he whispered to his father but not having the chance to complete his excuses, Mr.Park had already cut him off with a strict tone, talking to everyone in the meeting room.
"Shall we start now?" Mr.Park ignored his son and only fixed his eyes on the papers in his hands.
"Yes! Let's start the meeting now, everyone!" Jimin had once again shamelessly smiled to everyone, behaving like he didn't do anything that has put his father's image down under everyone's asses.

The meeting had gone well and, as usual, Jimin would be the first person ready to step out of the room, but unfortunately, he became the last person to stay in the room on that day when his father had asked him not to leave yet, the old man had something to say and it was probably because of his attitude.
Jimin ran his hand through his soft hair and pulled it back out of his face. He adjusted his tie and stared boringly at his father. "What's the reason for asking me to stay this time?" he asked, huffing lowly.
Mr. Park sighed at the attitude of his son, which has never changed since he dragged Jimin to work at the company for the past five years. He had no idea what else he was supposed to do to teach his son or how to motivate Jimin to be a better person. Jimin was his only son who had this kind of ugly attitude, while the other four were all growing up in a way that would make any parent proud of.
"Jimin, do you think that I'm full of patience?"
"Yeah. I'm so good at managing my temper. So it means, like father like son," he casually responded, not even grabs the feeling of fear to joke around with his father even though he knew the old man was really upset about him.
"You're 24, Jimin. Please, at least, act as your age here."
He grinned and spread his arms wide on both sides, "This is me, Park Jimin. The youngest in the family. Why do I have to be fake?
"I'm not asking you to be fake, I just want you to act like a human being, to behave your ass. Respect the elderly, try to discipline yourself as well. Until when do you want me and your mother to pretend that we don't care about what people are bad-mouthing about you?"
"Oh, so that's the problem." Jimin nodded while holding a serious look, caressing his chin with his middle finger. Then he leaned forward and placed his chin on his palm, staring boringly at his father. "What do you mean anyway by behaving like a human being? Am I not? Have I previously acted like a snake?" he snorted at his comments and chuckled half-heartedly.
He got up from his seat and went to his father's seat to stand close to him, his body bent forward as he wanted to whisper lowly near the man's ear. "If you're so worried about what people have said about me, find me a wife who can take care of me better than both of you," he said, kissing his father's cheek before leaving the meeting room, not forgetting to slam the door behind him.
Mr. Park took a sharp breath and let it out harshly, while stressfully massaging the back of his neck.
"What am I supposed to do with you, son?'
*Knock knock*
"Yes, come in."
"Sorry for the disturbing, Mr. Park, but we have to go now. You're going to have a friendly meeting at noon with Director Yang at Sohae's Coffee Gallery."
Mr.Park hummed and slowly gets up from his seat. "Okay. Let's go."
