Chapter 6: First Meet
The sound of the car that was owned by Jeon had startled those people who were walking near the road as the man in the car was driving it like a maniac. Jungkook was in a state of panic as he was already 40 minutes late from the time he was supposed to be at the place which he was told about by his grandfather. He tried to dial the old man's phone, but the voice mail came straight in.
"Fuck." He cursed, his eyes widen and his gazes on the road sharpen. He drove the car so fast that he received horns from the other drivers on the lane.
He was late on a reason of overslept, he felt so drained out since he was busy helping his father renovating their living room until late evening. He had forgotten to tell his mother to wake him up and had forgotten to set an alarm that had given him a little trouble.
"What a perfect shit to happen at the worst timing," he mumbled before pressing the accelerator even harder, seemingly no longer caring about his life at the moment.

Jungkook rushed out of his car when he had arrived at the restaurant where they were expected to meet and locked it, heading straight towards the door while fixing the lapels of his jacket. He walked as fast as if he were chasing someone. His mind was still filled with the disappointed look on his grandfather's face.
The first thing he saw when he reached the venue was the back of his old man sitting back in front of him and he didn't wait for anything further as he strolled over to them quickly while taking a deep breath.
"Yes, including the proposal we had postponed last year," When Mr.Jeon's eyes found his grandson standing next to the table, he stopped babbling and there was a disappointing look behind the smile, like what Jungkook had expected.
"I'm so sorry for being late," Jungkook apologize, bowing unhesitatingly to the three gentlemen, feeling at worst like he had to cover his face somewhere else.
"Why are you late? Take a seat," said his grandfather, gesturing to Jungkook to sit in front of his friend's son next to him.
Jungkook dropped his ass on the seat while exhaling loudly and moved his eyes awkwardly to glance at the young man in front of him. "I was... helping Dad and I fell asleep, forgetting to tell Mom to wake me up," he explained, before staring at his grandfather slowly with an apologetic expression.
On that night, the day where Mr.Jeon and Mr.Park had dragged Jungkook and Jimin to have a dinner together at one of the restaurants listed in the recommendations, both of them were sitting in front of each other, not even paying any attention of what was going on around them.
They didn't pay any focus on what the elders were talking about, Jungkook was looking at his shiny shoes like a body without a soul while Jimin, he was glaring at Jungkook's grandfather who was laughing with his father.
"Have you met Director Kang?" Mr.Park raised a topic about it, pulling Jungkook's attention like a magnet towards him and he broke into a small laugh when he caught Jungkook's gaze that was tense and filled with hatred. "Sorry for bringing it up. I guess it's a sensitive matter to Jungkook."
"Yeah?" Jungkook quickly uncrossed his legs and straightened his body on the seat, politely bowed half of his body to the man and smiled, "Aniya, it doesn't matter to me. You can talk about it as much as you want."
"Why?" Jimin interrupted, glaring at Jungkook with an unfriendly gaze. "Who's Director Kang?"
"Why bother to know?" Jungkook replied with a question, his left eyebrow lifted while his forehead was having a bit creased.
