CHAPTER 7: Glad You Are Here
"Dad, I have something to ask before I leave."
Jimin went to sit next to his father on the balcony, staring right up to the night sky before slowly looked down at his father next to him. He wondered; how should he bring about 'that' up as he was afraid if he shouldn't say anything about it. He just worried, what if he asked his father regarding this matter as the fact he wanted to know, is Jungkook really gay?
But he was worried that his father would go and ask Jungkook's grandfather, and the old man probably didn't know about it. It probably means that Jungkook just keeps it for himself and Jimin felt like he wasn't supposed to spill anything about somebody's shame. Yet what he wanted was to know the truth.
"Um, Dad. Have you check on his background life?" He asked clearly, not trying to be so direct.
"Who?"
"Jungkook."
With furrowed eyebrows, Mr. Park shifted his attention from his tablet to his youngest son. "Why should I?"
"It's just that you're about to slam your son into living with a man he's barely aware of. Don't you think that you should first know what kind of guy Jungkook is?"
"He's a good kid. Don't worry about it. Have you packed your things?" The elder was back on his tablet.
"Yeah," Jimin sighed, he knew his father really had no idea about it. Such a waste of energy to have to brainstorm earlier as he ends up got no answer to it. He huffed, slowly taking his leave and closed the sliding door behind him.
He went farther into the living room to get his bag on the couch, and he found his four brothers, who had a sad look on their faces already.
"This is so sudden," said Hoseok. "You should've rejected this bullshit idea. Why do you have to move out?"
"I don't know. This was all Dad's idea."
"Let me speak to him," Namjoon was ready to run to his dad, but in a short time he was stopped by Jimin, the younger one was so panicked that he looked scared as if he had just seen them naked.
"No need No need! I'm living with a friend of mine, a long-lost friend of mine. I just agreed to that because I missed him and decided to spend a bit more time with him." lied him where the truth is, he just needs freedom.
"You sure?" Yoongi asked, "What if something bad happened later? What will you do?"
Jimin rolled his eyes, "I'll let him do something about it."
"What if he's as useless as you are?" Seokjin asked, and the other brothers nodded at the question before firing a stern glare that has kicked Jimin's rage one by one.
"I'm not that useless, don't be overdramatic. He seems to be much better than all of you," he said while contorting his face as he stared at his brothers from their heads to their toes as if he were judging them for taking care of him for these past years.
"Yah, we're so good at taking care of you." Seokjin denied.
"Yes, that's right. After you nearly strip naked in front of people out of waste, we're the one who got you home." Namjoon agreed and Yoongi continued to sum it up.
"Also, I don't quite remember about this but did you guys remember it? In the middle of nowhere, there was a little brat who lost his phone and made us scared to death because he hadn't come back home for a few days?" Yoongi said in a cynical tone, causing Jimin to roll his eyes in irritation.
