I curl my fists as I stare at the glowing orbs ahead of me. This is ridiculous. Messing with my life is less unforgivable than messing with other people's lives.

I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose in frustration. What is he up to?

While pondering his motives, I watch as a very nervous teenager confronts the general girl. I smile, at least something good is happening.

I stand abruptly from my perch and make my way to one of the sub-rooms of the tree. This room is my sleeping area.

I wouldn't exactly call it my room, because I spend most of my time on my perch in the main room. Why not? I can watch everything from there through my orbs.

The orbs are the most powerful things I own. Three glowing multicolored floating orbs, that have a strange habit of following me, positioned at my chest level so I can easily look at them. I named them too. They are distinguished by their different sizes. The largest, Fortitudine, meaning strength, the middle sized, Amare, meaning love, and the smallest, Spes, meaning hope. All in my favorite language, Latin. The orbs all display what they are called too. Fortitudine shows strength and bravery. Amare shows love and compassion. Spero shows hope and kindness.

A funny thing happens when evil comes around. The orbs spin counterclockwise and join together to give me the image.

And that's what is happening right now. They spin, join together, then gently tap my upper arm. I glance over to see him meeting with a chocolate skinned girl. Her hair was pinned back in a tight, puffy ponytail, black tattered jeans, dark grey camisole, and some, fabulous, brown combat boots, if I do say so myself.

"So," he leans forward in his chair, "how's the plan going?"

She shuffles uncomfortably. "It's going good."

"Oh really?" he says, eyebrows high, "Then how's your progress?"

She coughs loudly, "Good."

"Okay cut the bull crap." he yells sternly, "I know you're not making progress! I know that you don't have the girl!"

"I will have the girl soon. I promise." She says desperately.

He slaps her, leaving a red hand print on her chocolate colored face. "Your promises mean nothing to me." He says hissing through his teeth, "I need the girl and I need her by the end of the week."

I wave the orbs away, frowning. I can't sit by and do nothing. I make my way to the weapons room and roll up my flowing sleeves.

It's about time I do something.

Hey guys,

Okay to start out I am really sorry we haven't posted. We got really busy recently and we haut couldn't find the time. Please forgive us.
・゜・(Д')・゜・。

However, we will try to post as much as we can and I might be adding pictures to old and new chapters.

In other news, my swim team that caused me to take a break from writing won our championship meet. That was exciting. I am thinking about writing a book soon for my Gold Award, stay tuned for that. In addition, my confirmation is coming up in March, so I am really excited about that. So yeah a lot of stuff happening.

Again I am really sorry about not post but I hope this chapter makes up for that.

Keep the reads and votes coming.
