December 2nd

Camila fumbled with her keys as she ran to the parking garage to find her car, praying to God she isn't late.

7:42 AM

She needs to be at work for eight but she stayed up all night working on a case. Working on how to prove this man innocent for her boss. After all, if she gives them exactly what they need and if she's correct, it'll all be worth it. Nevertheless, she woke up late, sleeping through her alarm and again in need of a coffee. However, this time she doesn't stop for one as there is no time to do so. Besides the case that kept her up last night, a certain Canadian man was haunting her mind. She enjoyed his company and maybe it was because she just really needed a coffee but he seemed so perfect. She shouldn't be one to assume someone is perfect though. She knew better than that.

8:01 AM

She never knew how complicated it was to run in heels with files in hand until now. She's a minute late and knowing her boss, she was about to be murdered and if-

"Motherfucker!" She exasperatedly said as she ran into someone or something, dropping all of her files into the snow. Quickly, in hopes that her files weren't ruined or dampened, she frantically got on her knees and began resorting what had fallen, "why does this keep happening to me?" She whispered to herself before someone kneeled beside her and began helping her out. "I'm not sure but isn't it crazy how it's me again?" That voice sounded familiar. She looked up and was met with the same hazel eyes she found herself starring at last night. "Shawn?" It was a surprise to see him here. This time, he didn't have a beanie on but instead left his curls untamed. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"The studio I work at is right next to your firm... funny, isn't it?"

She laughed nervously, finally getting all files in hand, "yeah, really funny... I'm so sorry but I'm already late and my boss is going to kill me. I have to go." She said for the second time like she did yesterday. However, as she ran towards the doors, Shawn called out for her. "Camila!" She spun around to face him. Why didn't she just keep on walking? She barely knows him and yet here she is, the minute he calls, she obeys, "do you want to hangout afterwards... if you're not busy."

"Sure, if my boss doesn't kill me entirely, I'm out of here by 6:30." She smiled at him as he nodded and she made her way in.

5:25 PM

Shawn had gone back home for the day as he finished work. And as he came closer to the front door of his apartment, he couldn't help but hear the involuntary tumultuous sounds coming from inside. He should've known. He hesitated to walk in for a second, terrified of what horror he'd see. He didn't care too much that she was in his apartment fucking some other guy but what he did care about was being scarred after seeing their naked bodies on any parts of his furniture. However, he chose to man up and walk in with ease and drop his bag, loud enough for them to hear and stop what they're doing. "Honey, I'm home." He smirked, bitterly joking around as the look of terror was written on the man's face as he shoved Sheridan off of him, gathering his clothing items and apologizing to Shawn, "man, I really don't care." He said before leading him out and slamming the door shut.

He turned to face her. He was unsure of how he felt as of right now. The only thing that kept him going was knowing that in a few hours he'd be with Camila and maybe, he'd rub it in Sheridan's face. Not that he was just using Camila to fuck with Sheridan, he just would love to see the look on Sheridan's face when Shawn tells her that he met someone prettier than her, someone kinder than her—much better than her.

She crossed her arms in front of him, "you don't care?" She asked surprised. Shawn didn't know what she was expecting. Him to get jealous? Never. Not when he too didn't mind leaving to go fuck someone else. "I don't care if you give your body to someone else... it's not like we do that anymore."
