Her body shook beneath him as he did as she pleased in him going faster. Their heart rates were going a mile a second and neither of them suspected that this was terribly wrong. The way she felt like silk beneath his body made him tremble. As he kissed down her stomach, she could feel herself desire him more and more. They were both intoxicated and they gave into their want. They wanted each other. In ways they shouldn't have each other for the most common reasons. How gorgeous she looked naked, completely ready for him as he got his condom on. She was everything in the most special ways possible. They both collapsed onto the bed, panting heavily next to one another—not even acknowledging what it was that just happened. Even drunk, he knew how beautiful she was even with wild sex hair and flushed skin, she was beyond beautiful. It felt nice to fall asleep entangled in his strong arms but she didn't know the consequences she'd face until the following morning where they'd be leaving to return back to New York.

The sun shining in through the sheer curtains of their hotel awakened Camila as she yawned, stretching out her sore limbs, sitting up from the bed. However, her eyes widened as she was fully awake now as she realized that she was naked under the covers in the bed that wasn't hers. It took her some time to understand that she wasn't in her bed. She was in Shawn's. Her head was pounding, courtesy to the hangover and her heart felt like it was about to explode. She didn't remember a single thing from the night before except dinner, her newly purchased books, and the bar they went to after letting boredom get to them. She couldn't have had sex with him. There was no way. He was taken and she wasn't that desperate.
"Good morning, sunshine." His voice echoed into the room as he was fully clothed with a paper bag and coffees in his hand. She screamed, covering herself with the blanket. He chuckled, "nothing I haven't seen before." He winked, letting what happened blow past them as if it didn't even happen. It angered her because this was wrong. Everything about what the two of them did was wrong. Incredibly wrong. This changes everything. Their friendship, his relationship, her feelings for him—everything.
"Okay, you're clearly not in the mood-"
"You have a girlfriend." She said, gesturing for him to turn away so she could change. He did as she pleased and it was clear that this wasn't something they could laugh about and move on from. It was unlike his other one night stands because this didn't feel that way. During his one night stands, there were no feelings and usually he wouldn't or shouldn't have a girlfriend but he does and he knows that Camila wouldn't let this slide. This was cheating and she was now involved.
"You have a girlfriend and we slept together... I'm a terrible person. Y-you're a terrible person... what the fuck did we do?" She asks more to herself as she paced around their room. "Listen, Camila... it's okay." He said, placing his hands on her shoulders before she pushed him away from her. "It's not okay. It will never be okay because... you're... you're a cheater." A tear slipped from her eye. Shawn's heart heaved because she was right. He was a cheater and it only explained why he'd never be good enough for her. He shouldn't have had sex with her last night but she was correct about how this wasn't okay. He hated that he was the cause of her tears and the wreckage in their friendship or whatever it was they had.
"Please, don't cry. Why are you crying?" He asked, not looking her in the eyes. He couldn't.
"I'm crying because this is so fucked up. Your relationship is fucked up! And now, I just fucked it up even more. Don't you get that? This should've never happened. God, we just ruined everything." She yelled, frantically packing because they had a flight to catch at two.
If only she knew. If only she knew how much he liked her and how hard he was falling for her. If only she knew the goosebumps she gave him when she touched him—the way she soothed him in the most simplistic ways. The way his heart fluttered when she smiled. Her smile wouldn't even need to be directed at him. He just knew that she made him feel ways Sheridan or anyone else could never make him feel. However, these are all things he'd never tell her because he knows how complicated things now were and he knew that he'd never be worthy of her heart. Despite how much it's opened for him.
Shawn nodded, understanding her frustration. "We can work this out, Camila. I know I am a cheater and I've ruined my relationship multiple times but so has Sheridan. She's probably doing the same thing-"
"That doesn't matter! Y-you can't just stoop down to her level." She pushed at his chest. She spun away from him, in preparation to end the conversation when she stopped, shocked by his suggestion.
"We just won't tell her."
She spun back around to face him. A look of disgust on her face, "no! You're going to tell her. Tell her what happened. I'm sure she'll hate it but that's okay. After today, we'll pretend this never happened and it will almost be as if we never even knew each other."
He knew not to argue with her but both of their hearts cracked at the suggestion of them not being friends anymore—or whatever they were. She didn't want to end their friendship but there was nothing that could make things okay. She was falling for him but he wasn't right for her. Not only was he taken but he cheats and she shouldn't trust him. However, that's exactly what she's done. She trusted him. And now, everything she thought she had under control was now falling apart.
"I'll see you at the airport." She said. "And by the way, once we land in New York... we don't talk."
Shawn nodded slowly, tears escaping his eyes as he blinked. He was losing her.
