Penny had waited in the apartment the entire night. It didn't upset her that she came back to the flat alone, she didn't enjoy it though. When she got back, she opened a letter addressed to her and bought christmas presents for the holiday in a few days. With the hours she spent shopping, she would have thought that the twins would have been back to the flat. However they weren't and it gave her time to wrap the gifts and hide them.
Molly and Arthur were going to receive a muggle television. Solely for the purpose that Arthur would find it absolutely brilliant and maybe it would cause Molly to sit down and relax. Royce was receiving a new journal, Penny noticed on their last trip that he had filled it up to the brim with anything he found worth noting. George, her favorite friend, was going to be surprised by a gift that was enchanted to never open. Every time he tries to unwrap the empty box, there would be a lottery of pranks waiting for him. In her mind, she thought that this would keep him busy for at least a year. She decided to give Ginny her invisible ink that can only be seen with a certain spell that she wrote down for her. For all the boys as a whole, Penny bought them new quaffles to play with. That gift covered Harry, Ron, Bill, Charlie and the twins. Fluer was just going to receive a pretty necklace and Hermoine was receiving a silencing charm that would be good for when the boys become too much.
George's gift she really thought out. At first she wanted to possibly play a prank on him that she was pregnant, but soon after she remembered that he was genuinely excited when Fred joked about it. After about an hour of searching she came across a watch that looked almost identical to the clock the Weasley's had in their home. It has no hands on it yet, but after speaking with the dealer, she knew how to add the hands and thought that this was going to be the absolute perfect gift for her boyfriend. The "hours" were home, school, work, ministry, jail, possible peril and traveling. Hopefully it would calm his anxieties that he tried to hide while she was away.
As if they had been watching her, just as he hid the gifts away into her unlimited storage bag, the twins zapped themselves into their flat. "Penny!" Both together yelled.
She pushed her short red hair behind her ears. "I've been here for ages, where have you both been."
Fred and George glance at each other. "We've been making preparations."
"For what? You may ask Penny my love."
"Well George let me answer that for you." Fred looped his arm through Penny's and sat her down. "We picked up the kiddos from the train. Then we brought out all of our stuff to go stay at our home. Ya know Christmas. Then we packed your schedule so tight that the only time you'll have to sleep is," He quickled made a scroll appear in his hand, dropped it down and then looked back at Penny. "Between the hours of two and four in the morning on Christmas morning."
After inhaling she eyed Fred hoping he was kidding. George then grabbed her arm and her bag. "And we leave now."
Crack
She would need to yell at them later for not announcing when they were traveling. "You two are not allowed to just do that without informing me!"
"What's all the shouting about!" Everyone recognised Mrs. Weasley's shrieking voice. Especially the twins because it was practically their childhood. "Oh hello dear. You two better not be torcherings this poor girl. Not this weekend."
"Be right back." Both boys statement and disappeared to do whatever they were planning.
"These boys!" She yelled up into the ceiling. She ushered Penny into the kitchen. "Now, I know that you've been sleeping in bed with George but until you're married you'll have to sleep in with Ginny and Hermoine when they arrive. Your father arrived a few hours ago. Only two days till Christmas you know. Charlie is up in the addict hiding from me, Bill and Fleur tomorrow. Fleur will be in with the three of you. Don't tell Ginny yet. No need to bother upsetting her."Well I'm afraid the boys were supposed to bring you for dinner but I believe we are a bit of a celebration tonight so go get ready."
