George and Fred had an inspection by Molly Weasley before they entered the wedding tent. She wanted no pranks and the twins had a very different idea. Fred and George stood at the end of the aisle. That was their instructions. They said hello to the limited amount of guests as they walked in though. The trio of friends were in charge of escorting guests to their seats, which left the oldest brothers in the tent to talk with Fred and George. Soon, it was full of the important family and friends, Remus, Tonks, Lee Jordan, Fleur and some ministry friends of Mr. Weasley.

The tent was simple. It was white with light grey decorations. It fit them, they never needed much from anyone or anything and George knew Penny well enough that she wanted a simple wedding. The aisle, after the guest arrived, was covered in white flower petals. George was excited about the wedding itself but he wanted it to be over with to just be with Penny. Fred could tell George was becoming more nervous but with a few jokes he was able to calm down. Royce, Molly and Arthur walked in and took their seats to signal the music to start. Bill had spent all morning trying to figure out these instruments on request of his mother. It took him all morning but he figured it out nonetheless. George shifted back and forth between his feet as he waited for the tent to open up and see his bride.

Penny wasn't feeling the nerves anymore. Ruby walked in first with her red dress which allowed Penny to get a peek into the tent. She was beyond happy when she was finally able to walk in. Her eyes threaten to tear up as she spots George. He had the same reaction when he fixed the sleeves of his black and purple dress clothes. All eyes were on Penny as she walked in. The Weasley's had seen her dress once before and that brought back memories for them. Penny slowly walked towards George even though she wanted to run towards him. She hadn't seen him all day because of traditions. Her white daisy bouquet was passed off to Ruby as her and George met. He leaned in and kissed her cheek, getting the chance to whisper, "You look absolutely gorgeous."

They stood together as the man marrying the two appeared. "Today we gather-" Penny felt lost in the moment and drowned out the words of the wizard. She just smiled and watched George. "We have two young wizards here ready to commit to each other fully. Let us hear what they have to say."

George spoke first. "Freddie and I have always been the jokesters of the bunch. Still pretty sure we were accidents and that's why Mum still can't tell us apart. We've been breaking the rules our entire lives. People who everyone could smile with. Even Ol McGonnigal will tell our kids that one day. But when I'm with you Penny, I'm the guy who has someone to smile with. She makes me laugh, unintentionally most of the time. But knowing that I get to wake up with you, I don't need to be known for my jokes anymore. I get to be known as the lucky man who gets to marry you. And Penny, that's all I ever want to be known as again. I am in love with you today as much as I was the night we danced in the Gryffindor Common Room. I will love you as fiercely as I have then in our past as I will in our future. This is our once in a lifetime love Penny. I will stand by you in whatever our future holds whether it be facing a war, changing diapers, our children's nappies and even your own. Because that's what happens when you age everyone." George received laughter from the teary room. "This ring is the most serious commitment I will ever make and I couldn't ask for anything better."

Penny laughed through her tears that had slipped down her cheeks every so softly. George slipped her ring over her finger and clinked the engagement ring. She laughed into her segment. "Oh Georgie, sometimes you leave me with nothing left to say. You've stood by me through a difficult moment in my life, you've always wanted to protect me even when I was stubborn enough to rebel. I knew that I loved you when you took the time to console kids who received a false detention when we were at school. You never failed to show me the sensitive side of George Weasley when everyone saw the other half of Weasley Wizard Wheeze. I want to spend the rest of my life, however long it may be to bring you the world. I'll even change your nappies. You've loved me for what I am the entire time we've known each other. And I truly want you to know that I've loved you with my entire heart. With this ring, I commit my life to yours. May they be intertwined with good fortune and love." Penny slipped the ring on George's finger as he laughed.
