Things Change

Part 7

You hoped inside the backseat of the car and rolled your eyes when Jimin sat next to you. He scoffs seeing your disappointed reaction. Which was fake! Jin sat in the passenger seat. After few minutes you guys reached a building which looked like an office.

You followed the two men to a huge meeting hall where a white screen was set up. You found a group of men already sitting and discussing something. All of their attention was towards you guys now, you people bowed to each other. Jimin sat in the front desk and Jin next to him.

You found a empty chair in the corner and decided to go there. You scrolled your mobile screen smiling at the pictures you had taken with Cara. The next slide was a medical record of a person. You zoomed the screen to have a clear view.

It was Mr. Kang's! You went for a clear observation of each and every word written. You found something suspicious about the records. "Wait!" You said quiet loud gaining everyone's attention.
"Yes?" The person who was explaining the case looked at you confused and so did the others.

You walked towards the screen asking the man to show the medical records which he had showed you in the hospital. He nods and and displayed it on the screen. "Ha! I knew something was wrong! " you said punching the air but non of them any idea what you were saying.

"Look at the records which is on the screen..it says that there was internal bleeding in his digestive tract. But it hasn't mentioned about any diamonds." You said pointing the display screen. "And the records which I have says that Mr Kang had peptic ulcers which happens due to bacteria called
H. pylori maybe because the patient would have taken drugs called-" you got interrupted.

"What are you trying to say Dr.Lee? Please come to the point..we don't understand doctor's language." Jimin says. "Well Mr.Park I'm trying to say that Mr Kang never swallowed those diamonds. The medical history is completely different which I have. Maybe Mr Kang got a fake report done to fool you guys." You explained to the members.

"So your telling that Mr Kang has the diamonds!" Jin asks. "Maybe... I don't know! The only thing I can assure you that we never found the diamonds during surgery!" You said. Jimin stood up now facing the rest of the members.

"I want you to investigate Mr Kang on this issue. Thank you for your valuable time." He bows to the members and leaves the hall. You bowed too and rushed behind Jimin to keep up with his speed.
As soon as you walked out of the building Jin came running behind you. "You left your phone on the desk" he gives you your phone and you thanked him.

You saw Jimin bringing his car and stopping it in front of you. "Aren't you coming? " you asked Jin who was going back inside. "Oh no. I have some work." He waves and walks off. You got inside the car sitting next to Jimin.

"Let's go. I'm hungry.." you said rubbing your stomach and he giggles at your cuteness. Unknowingly a soft smile spreaded on your lips too. "Your smile is so adorable. Then why don't you smile more?" Your sudden compliment made him stop immediately. He looked at you, his laugh converting into a smile and then his lips formed a straight line.

He grew a little cautious as you looked at him with a heavy gaze and he blinked his eyes before letting out a small cough. The car drive went silent as you engaged yourself looking at the surroundings while he was busy in controlling his raged heartbeats which quickened with your genuine compliment, making a constant smile play on his lips.

He was blushing!!

He halted the car in front a small hotel. You ran quickly towards the hotel. "This woman!!!" He squirmed under his breath but decided to wait for you in the car.

"Why did you run away like that?" He directed towards you as soon as you took the passenger's seat beside him.

You raised the cup of noodles which you were holding answering his question through your gesture. "You have no idea how hungry I was and I still am." You spoke with a mouthful of food.
You found Jimin staring at you with a soft smile. "Want some?" You ask him pointing at your noodles.

He simply shook his head and you scoffed. "Cummon Mr.Park ! Have a bite..it's damn yummy" you forced him to take a bite of noodles from your chopsticks. He takes a bite and smiles when you continued to eat with the same chopsticks.

"Its good isn't it?" You ask him and he nods with a smile. He was completely lost in those happy eyes of yours which you were batting making his heart flutter. Without knowing, his hands forwarded wiping the soup which was smeared on the corner of your lips with his thumb pad.

"Thanks for what you did in there! You did a great!" He says taking his hand back.

Your heart pounded heavily because of his this little action making you go all pink....
