Things Change

Part 12

"Why are you late?" Jimin asked you as soon as you entered the house. "How come you are not sleeping?" You question him back trying to change the topic. "Its 11:45pm y/n!" He says gritting his teeth. "Did you have dinner?" You try walking to the kitchen but he grips your wrist. "Don't try to change the topic y/n! Why weren't you picking my calls? I was so worried." You look straight into his eyes.

"Let's end it Jimin." Tears filled your eyes those words came out from your mouth. "What?" He asks with confusion. "I don't deserve your love so let's end the relationship." You said in a shaky voice. "Your kidding me right?" He chuckled but his face became blank once he saw your serious face.

"I'm really sorry Jimin but I don't love you anymore." You said freeing yourself from his grip and walked to your room. Packing your things back ready to leave at place in the middle of the night you walk back to the living room.

You saw Jimin standing in the same position and you walked upto him. "I'll be leaving. Thanks for your hospitality." You said before walking towards the door. Before you opening the door Jimin back hugged you wrapping his arms around your waist.

He felt his heart breaking and you were his first love ever happened. He loved you more than anything else and would do anything for you. "I'm really sorry for what-" "You have done nothing Jimin. It's my fault." You said controlling your tears.

"Please don't leave me like this y/n. Let's sought out the misunderstanding. I won't bicker with you from now onwards. I will wear the clothes which you choose. We can go to theme park everyday. I-I'll take you to shopping and we can have plenty of burgers. I'll do anything just don't leave me please. There's no one in my life that I've loved so much as you. I really love you please don't do this to me." He pleaded you with tears and you never saw him cry so much.

"I'm really sorry Jimin. Don't try contacting anymore." You wiped your tears before freeing yourself from his grip and walk off shutting the doors on his face. As soon as you walked out you kneeled to the ground and started sobbing. You were desperate to leave him. You did this for his good but you never knew that you meant the world to him. Putting the hand on your mouth, you tried to subside down your sobs but it kept increasing every passing moment.

Jimin cried in agony, fisting his hairs. All this happened because you left him. "She can't leave me..she can't!" He said to himself as his eyes turned red trying hard to control itself from crying further.

"Why did she leave me? Was my love not enough for her?" His head started hurting as his tears didn't stop from flowing.

He fell back, crying hysterically. He just couldn't stop himself. Never did he feel so weak or helpless. Walking back inside the living room he slumped down on the floor resting his head on the couch. "Why did s-she leave m-me?" His voice shivered as the dawn of loneliness crept over him.

Flashback
"Here are the reports." Cara said handing you a file.

"I have 4th stage brain tumor isn't it?" You mumbled in a low voice looking at the reports. "I'm really sorry y/n." She hugs you while sobbing while you stand there still, you were shocked. "If I get a surgery done then my lifespan might decrease than it already has." You said in a low voice.

"I won't be able to keep Jimin happy and he deserves all the happiness in the world." You said while Cara looks at you sadly. "Promise me you won't let him know this." You look at her with your blurred vision and she nods hesitantly.

"So it's five more years then." You said smiling to her while she sobs harder and you try to comfort her patting her back. "Or maybe less" you said under your breath wiping off your tears.

"I'll be coming to work from tomorrow." You said to her and she nods.

Everything was going to end within 5 years and there was nothing you could do about it. You wanted to be him so badly where you almost dreamed making a family with him. No one could make you happy the way he did.

You thought that being with him in this condition can make him suffer in the future. With a heavy heart you decided to break up today. The thought of not being with him gave you nightmare but now you had no choice.

After reaching his mansion you stood in front of the door before opening it and all memories flashed across your mind. You chuckled remembering the time you were bickering with him, you blushed remembering those intimate moments with him. He was your happy pill.

But God was too cruel that he couldn't take your happiness so he opened the gates of death for you to walk in. Sighing, you opened the door and your eyes filled with tears as leaving him tonight was very painful. You promised yourself to be brave and not cry in front him.
