Surely enough, when I arrived at King's Cross Station I found a family of gingers all crowded in between platform 10 and platform 9. The muggle platform was very busy, however it was quiet compared to platform 9 and 3/4.
I quickly made my way over to the Weasley's and stood in between the twins. Molly was stood in front of Ron, with her arm around Ginny, telling Percy to go through. As Percy lined himself up to the wall, a young boy that looked about the same age as Ron walked up with a trolley full of all sorts of magic-looking items. His black hair and pale skin seemed familiar, but I couldn't quite place who he was. He had a look of awe on his face as Percy ran at the wall and disappeared.
Molly turned her attention to Fred and George, who just glanced at each other smirking. I knew that whenever they looked at each other that way, they were up to something.
"Fred you next," she gestured her head towards the wall.
"He's not Fred, I am!" George responded in a high-pitched voice pointing his thumb at Fred. I smirked, knowing what they were up to, earning an elbow in the ribs from George.
"Honestly woman, you call yourself our mother..." Fred shook his head in disappointment.
Molly scoffed, mentally facepalming herself, "Oh, I'm sorry. George."
Fred pushed his heavy trolley in line with the wall and looked at Molly.
"I'm only joking I am Fred!" He said before running into the wall and disappearing like Percy. George followed a second later also vanishing.
"Oh those two," Molly chuckled.
It was now my turn so I grabbed my trolley and steered it in line with the wall as smoothly as I could. My eyes met with Ginny's as she gave me a look of sadness. Being the only two girls in the house besides Molly, Ginny and I had a very strong friendship. The start of the Hogwarts year was always the hardest because I didn't like to leave her all alone.
"I'll be back before you know it Gin," I smiled softly before running through the wall.
As I got onto the platform, Fred and George were stood there waiting with their legs outstretched in front of the wall. My trolley bumped and my stuff went flying, causing me to trip and topple onto my things. Fred and George high-fived each other while laughing hysterically at me contorted on the floor.
"Good one guys, and that one with your Mum? Classic. Never gets old." I couldn't ever get mad at their pranks because they were always so brilliantly funny, part of the reason why they were still my best friends after all these years.
Fred held out his hand and helped pull me off the ground while George picked up the last of my books off the floor and placed them back on my trolley.
I looked all around us and the platform was bustling with life and chaos, just like usual. My attention turned back to the wall as the scrawny boy from before came running through the wall, a huge smile spread across his face. Not long after, Ron, Molly and Ginny passed through. The train whistle blew, alerting Molly of the time, causing her to usher us on.
Once we all got our trunks onto the train, we hugged Molly and Ginny goodbye and went to find an empty compartment. Fred and George ran ahead while I helped Ron find somewhere to sit. After looking for a while, we came across one that the boy from earlier was sat in.
"Excuse me," Ron started, causing the boy to whip his head towards us, "D'you mind? Everywhere else is full."
"Not at all," the boy gestured towards the seat in front of him and Ron made his way in.
"I'm Ron by the way. Ron Weasley. And this is Savannah." I smiled and waved my hand slightly, still stood at the door.
"I'm Harry. Harry Potter."
Ron's eyes widened and I can imagine mine did too. Could he really be the-boy-who-lived?
"So....so is it true? I mean...do you really have the...." Ron gestured towards his forehead, "the......"
"The what?" Harry responded, visibly confused.
Ron looked from side to side as if to make sure no one could hear him too loudly, causing me to chuckle slightly.
"The scar." Ron whispered in a hushed tone.
Harry smiled and pushed back his fringe revealing a lighting bolt shaped scar on the right-hand side of his forehead.
"WICKED" Ron and I said in unison, as we heard a clicking of wheels coming down the train passage.
I moved into the compartment to let the trolley through.
"Anything off the trolley dears?"
Ron lifted up a bag of Molly's homemade food while rejecting anything from the trolley. I did the same, only I looked more grateful than Ron. Ron smiled weakly and put his bag down next to him and I put mine back in my pocket. Hary looked from Ron to me and thrust his hand in his pocket.
"We'll take the lot!" He exclaimed, pulling out a handful of coins.
"Woah," Ron looked at Harry's hand with his mouth open in shock.

Once I had helped them fill an entire seat of the compartment with the sweets and treats off the trolley, I put my hand on Ron's shoulder.
"Right Ron, I better go find your brother's before they file a missing person's report."
Ron looked at me and nodded, his mouth full of Pumkin Pasties. I looked to Harry and smiled, holding my hand out for him to shake.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Harry, but I best be going now. Ron's older brother's are cool but they will kill me if I make them wait too long."
He held up his index finger, indicating that he wanted me to wait one second. Then he started filling my coat pockets up with all different types of sweets to take with me.
I chuckled, "Thankyou."
As I left, they began to talk about Berty Bott's every flavour beans. God they are the most random sweets. You never know what flavour you'll get. I remember one time when me and the twins were eating them, George swore he got a bogey flavoured one.
I was pulled out of thought when I bumped into a young girl, already in her robes with brown, frizzy hair. I assumed she was also a first-year.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I need to pay more attention. I'm looking for a toad, a boy named Neville has lost one," She said.
"Don't worry that was my fault. Do you mean Trevor?"
"Yes, poor Neville can't find him anywhere. I'm Hermione Granger by the way, pleasure to meet you."
"Savannah nice to meet you too. I'll go look further this way, why don't you try the way I just came. I didn't see anything myself but someone else could have."
The girl nodded her head and started checking in the compartments, asking everyone if they had seen Trevor. I soon came across the compartment Neville was in, he was sat there putting Trevor back in his cage.
"So you found him did you?" My voice must've startled him because he turned around quicker than Ron eats his food, "I told you to keep an eye on him."
I shook my head, laughing, as did Neville. Once I saw that Trevor was safely put away, I bid farewell to Neville and a few other first years that I had just met.
Eventually, I found the compartment that Fred, George, Lee and Angelina were in and flopped down on the seat, swinging my legs up onto Fred as I lay back on George's lap.
"What took you so long-" Fred started.
"We were beginning to think that we cared enough to worry about you," George finished.
"Charming," I smiled, throwing the sweets at everyone and sitting up. "We should probably change into our robes, I expect that we'll be arriving soon."
After we had all changed, we sat there talking about what we all got up to over the summer. It was really fun to see each other again, and we spent the rest of the journey catching up on everything we had missed.
