We were so close that I don't even think a piece of paper could fit between us anymore. Oliver's lips lightly brushed against mine making me feel butterflies all over and causing my eyes to flutter shut. I leaned into the kiss more until our lips were fully connected. Both of us smiled into the kiss, neither one letting go of the other.

Suddenly a sharp, cold sensation ran down me and I jumped back and yelped. I heard chuckles down the corridor and looked to see Fred and George quickly hide around the corner.

My entire body filled with rage, this was the perfect first kiss with the perfect guy and they just had  to go and ruin it. Just as I was about to go and storm after them and hex them or something, Oliver grabbed my arm and turned me back towards him.

I quickly got embarrassed about how angry I was and turned towards the ground. He just placed a finger under my chin and gently tilted my head upwards.

"Ignore them, now, where were we?"

And just like that, we were kissing again. Once we both left the kiss for air, Oliver rested his forehead on mine and we both stood there embracing each other with our eyes closed.

Then, out of nowhere a spell was shot our way and we were both drawn about 2ft away from one another. I looked down the corridor, half expecting to see Fred or George again. To my surprise, it was Professor Snape.

Oliver cleared his throat, "Professor..."

"Mr Wood. Miss P-. Savannah, what a delight, and might I ask what you two are doing frolicking about the castle after hours? By the looks of things-"

"We are so sorry Professor. Won't happen again. Oh and before I forget, here's the extra credit potions work I asked for." I cut him off so that he didn't make it even more uncomfortable and handed him a piece of paper from my back pocket.

"Thank. You" he said, snatching the paper out of my hand rather aggressively whilst still keeping eye contact with Oliver. "I'll be keeping an eye on you too, Wood."

After making eye contact with the both of us one last time, he disappeared down the hall with a flick of his cape. Once we knew he was out of hearing range, we both burst out laughing.

"Nice save there."

"Thanks. Snape has a point though, it is after hours. While I do enjoy spending my time with you, especially like how we just spent it, I must go to bed." I placed my hand on his shoulder as I walked past and placed a soft peck on his cheek.

"Goodnight Savannah." Oliver whispered it so quietly that I didn't know if he was even speaking to me anymore.

On my way back to the common room, I decided to take a detour and visit the Slytherin dorms. I knew Marcus had decided to stay over Christmas and I decided it was finally time for payback after what he did to Oliver.

Just as I had suspected, he was sat in the common room playing with a pen, all alone. Concealed by a large pillar, I took out my wand and whispered, "Herbifors" causing a vibrant bunch of flowers to sprout from his head. I smiled in satisfaction and skipped all the way back to my bed.

I lay back and smiled at the ceiling, today was a great day.

It was three days until Christmas and I was in Hogsmeade grabbing a few last bits and pieces for people, before meeting the twins, Lee, Angie and Oliver in the Three Broomsticks for some butterbeer. Once I had paid for the last few items from Zonko's I hid them away in my bag which had an extension charm on it.
