***BAMBI'S POV***
Today is the day I get my braces off! I've been waiting for this day since I got them. My mom walked out of her room and asked if I was ready. I shook my head yes. We went outside and got into my Pink slug bug convertable. She let me drive since I just got my license. Once we arrived at the orthodontist my mom went and signed me in. After waiting about 10 minutes a lady called me back. I followed her back and she asked if I was ready to get rid of my braces. I told her I was more then excited and she said alright let's get started.
The orthodontist walked in and got ready to take off my braces. After he was finished taking them off I was so happy! I couldn't stop licking my teeth. I went back out to my mom and we got my retainer and left. They told me I didn't have to wear the retainer everyday just some days. I just smiled and got into my car. On our way home my mom and I stopped at Starbucks to get a drink. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and my mom ordered a large mocha frappe. The rest of the way home me and my mom talked and drank our drinks. When we got to my house I parked the car in my parking space and turned off the car. I grabbed my stuff and went inside the house. When I walked in Jack walked up to me and asked how my mouth felt. I said," a lot better now." He smiled and said great.
Me and Jack walked upstairs to my room and layed on my bed. He asked if I wanted to go to Dairy Queen since I got my braces off. I said yeah! We went downstairs and got into his Black Corvette. We drove to Dairy Queen and he asked if I wanted to go in or through drive threw. I said drive threw and he drove around. The lady asked what we would like and I said a Medium Oreo royal shake with rolos. Jack got a Large Chocolate milkshake with M&M's. The lady told us it would be 6.96 at the window. He drove up and paid the lady 7.00. She gave us our $.04 and we got our drinks and left. We went back to my house and he said he had to go home but he would see me at school. I said,"okay."
He said,"I love you beautiful."
"I love you too!"
After Jack left I called Hayes to see what he was doing today. He said nothing why? I asked if he wanted to go see a movie or something with me since he was my bestfriend and we haven't hung out much. He said he would love too and I said I'd pick him up in a hour. I finished my shake and went upstairs to my room. I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I remembered my doctor saying I could use Crest 3D whitening strips to keep my teeth white. I opened my medicine cabinet and got 2 strips out. I put them on my teeth and went to my closest. I grabbed my pink bag to match my outfit. When I looked at my clock it was 3:47. I called Hayes to see if he was ready. He said he was so I went downstairs and told mom where I was going. I grabbed my keys and went to my car. I got in the car and started the ignition and put the car in reverse. After I pulled out of the driveway I drove to Hayes' house. When I got there I put my car in park and turned it off. I grabbed my keys and walked to his front door. I knocked on the door and his mom the door and greeted me. I hugged her and told her I missed her. She said she missed me too. Hayes walked down the stairs in a red polo shirt, kakhi shorts and red vans. He looked so cute!
**Hayes' POV**
I walked downstairs and I saw Bambi. She looked beautiful. I know I'm dating Summer but I've always kinda liked Bambi. Her hair was lightly curled, she was wearing a pink crop top with light blue high waisted shorts and pink vans. She's a big fan of pink. She was talking to my mom and she laughed. OMG SHE GOT HER BRACES OFF!!! I haven't seen her all weekend. I had no clue she was getting them off this soon. Ugh I've been to worried about Summer to worry about my bestfriend. I really missed talking to Bambi all night but Jack took her from me. I have to get her back. Somehow! Someway!
