"Has anyone checked on her yet today?" Kage asks the room of people all waiting for the new little arrivals.

"No." Jackson says, his face on the screens as usual.

"But, I've been rewatching all the nighttime footage and you'll never guess what happened last night." Jackson continues with a smirk.

Lori and I roll our eyes, used to his little games.

"Absolutely nothing?" I retort, the answer he's given us every day this week with the same joke. It's old.

"The first one came at thirteen minutes past one." Jackson grins broadly.

For a moment I don't react, until I realise what he just said. She's had them.

Snatching the laptop from him, I stare at the screen and watch the footage myself. Her wolf paces for a while, before finally laying down in her den, I could see her panting. At first it just looks like she's tired after a long run, until the wolf begins to move around as if uncomfortable. All at once, she swings her head to her back side and begins licking, that's when it comes into view. The tiny pup that she begins cleaning immediately, in doing so she moves the pup closer to her teats. The pup doesn't take long to begin fumbling around in search for her teat.

Jackson skips a little over ten minutes ahead, when she had another, and the final one being half an hour after the second. After cleaning them throughly, and herself, the pups feed for the first time and Kalli's wolf finally rests.

Jackson takes it forwards until now, allowing us to see a live stream of what she's doing. Still inside the den, curled up with the pups latched onto her teats, she cleans where the umbilical cord was. She ate all three, including the sac and the placenta. It was by far the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

Still, even though the excitement is high with the pups safe arrival, Hardin's condition hasn't changed. Triss says that his wounds are finally healing, but the doctors say they're not certain of what to expect when he wakes up, or if he wakes up. Kalli doesn't know he's healing, she hasn't seen him since she shifted given that it's not safe.

"What now?" I sigh, already impatient with waiting to see the pups.

Lori smiles.

"We wait for her wolf to shift back." She shrugs.

"When will that be?" Jackson frowns.

"She'll wait until the pups are stronger, it's all about timing." Lori says, like it's the simplest thing ever.

With a groan, I head down to the gym to distract myself. I've never seen a pup before, not in wolf form, I'm rather curious. Plus, we don't know the genders or names, so there's that excitement too.

Another three weeks pass by, seemingly fast as we watch the wolf care for the pups. Seeing them grow, even just through a camera is mesmerising, they grow so fast compared to human babies.

During the end of the third week, the pups are beginning to stumble around as they attempt to walk. That same week, she shifts back, triggering the pups to follow suit.
