"Mm." I sound, frowning slightly as I fidget about, trying to move but the blankets restrict me from doing so.

Sighing, I turn my head and try to get comfortable, but something happening between my legs awakens me. Whatever it is, it feels good.

Slowly opening my eyes, I glance down to see Hardins piercing silver eyes gazing up at me as his tongue teases the soft flesh of my inner thighs.

"What are you doing?" I whisper huskily with sleep.

"Having breakfast." His lustful voice makes my entire body shudder.

Before I can respond, his mouth dives between my thighs, and a breathless moan of surprise exits my body as his tongue teases my entrance.

Holy shit! I thought, my head falling back against the pillows.

"You're looking chipper today." Jackson smirks at me the second I enter the kitchen.

Ignoring the way my cheeks threaten to heat up, I give him a shrug.

"I'm happy I'm home." I say.

"Mhm."

After making myself a hot chocolate, I head outside to see what Hardins doing. To my confusion, he's got all the warrior wolves on the field running them through training drills. I've been here over four months now, and not once have I seen him training them like this.

Has something changed?

"Why are you running drills?" I ask Hardin with a slight frown.

"Theirs been sightings of rogues, I want them to be prepared at all times." Hardin responds with a light shrug, kissing me softly.

For a few seconds, I forget what I was frowning about as I kiss him back. If I wasn't holding my hot drink, I would definitely have snogged him.

"Now that you're done distracting me, you can tell me the real reason." I whisper, slowly pulling away.

"What makes you think I'm lying?" Hardin challenges me.

I arch my eyebrow at his attitude, noticing that all the wolves stop their training to take notice of us. I didn't care for the extra eyes.

"Ok, well every time you lie, you get a little attitude about you." I comment, gesturing to his current attitude.

He just stares at me, while his men snort with laughter at my hand gesture and facial expression. I suppose to them it's hilarious seeing their big bad Alpha get put in his place.

"I'm planning something for you, and I need these guys on their toes to make sure it doesn't get ruined by rogues." Hardin sighs.

"Planning something? Like what?" My mind is easily distracted, trusting him to tell him if it was anything serious. He knows how to handle attacks, he'll be fine.

"Like a surprise." Hardin smirks, simply turning me around and sending me back inside the house. Fun thing is, he follows me inside.

"Are we going upstairs?" I whisper, turning my head so I can look up at him.

Hardins silver eyes dance with lust. "We're going to my office." He whispers huskily.
