Everything was quiet. I had entered the detention center and saw Loki broken. He was sitting on the floor staring into nothing. He wasn't crying, I guess cause he was still trying to play tough.
"Greetings, Blue," I said. he immediately snapped his head towards me and stared into my eyes. I gave a small smile to comfort him and he returned it.
"Hi Linda," he answered. That made me smile more.
"It's been a long time hasn't it?"
"Indeed it has, but what happened?"
"When you were telling me about my past life, you triggered something that helped me regain my memory."
"It's good to know."
"Loki, why are you doing this?"
"Doing what?"
"This, you trying to take control of the world, gain a kingdom by the force... become this greedy child with a sick dream?"
"Because I am tired of Thor being favored over me, to be loved over me, to be preferred over me."
"But that is not true, and you know this."
"But I had lost you."
"But I'm here now."
"But now is too late, I've come to far for nothing."
"Am I nothing to you then?"
"That is not what I mean."
"Well it seems like it." I cried.
Seeing a tear stroll down my cheek made Loki quiet. For a while the both of us just stared at each other in silence.
Loki's P.O.V.
How could she say that?! She mean everything to me, but I can't stop this. If I do it will show weakness, and then Thanos will come after me.
Seeing her cry hurts me, but knowing I cause it kills me.
"I am sorry, but I cannot stop this," I whispered loud enough for her and only her to hear.
"Well then, I guess I'm just wasting your time," with that said she exited the Detention Center. Leaving me there, broken, stuck between my mind, and my heart.
