{ Ariana's pov }

It's been a day since Y/n left and she gave me her number since I asked her for it. I didn't know if I should text her or not. Maybe she was waiting for my message so I was just gonna text her

Me: Hey 😊

She texted back after about three hours. Seems like she wasn't waiting for my message.

Y/n❤️: who's this

Me: Right. It's me, Ariana

Y/n❤️: oh
Y/n❤️: hi ariana

Me: Hi, how are you?

Y/n❤️: good and you

Me: Me too
Me: Wanna hang out later?

Y/n❤️: okay
Y/n❤️: when?

Me: In like two hours? At my place?

Y/n❤️: okay

Me: K cool
Me: See you later❤️

Y/n: c u

She didn't seem very interested but maybe that was just the way she texted. I got up and made myself ready. I drank a glass of water when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked to the door, opened it and saw Y/n

"Hi Y/n" I hugged her

"Hey" she said and walked inside

"You can actually stay outside. I thought maybe we could get some starbucks and go to the park for a walk you know? I thought I could get to know you better" I suggested

"Okay" she said and walked out again

"We're taking my car. Is that okay for you?" I asked

"Yes, sure" Y/n said

We got in my car and I started driving

"Shit" I cursed

"What's wrong?" She asked as she looked up from her phone

"I forgot my glasses and I shouldn't be driving without them" I said

She sighed and looked out the window. She didn't look very happy today. But she didn't look very happy yesterday either.

I was planning on asking her about that later. I cared about people and it might seem that I was caring too much for her too fast but I hated seeing people suffer since I knew how that felt

Especially Y/n, there was something about her that felt different than other people I've met, or maybe I was just being weird

"I can drive for you if that's fine with you. I mean your car is very expensive. It's not like I'm broke or anything- but yeah, you get me" she said nervously

I giggled and nodded my head.

This was the first time Y/n talked this much to me while being sober. I pulled up at the side of the street and we switched seats. She started the car and drove off. She looked like she was lost in her thoughts but still managed to concentrate on the road
