I never was too into the topic of love. I thought it's something that happens and just one day, it ends. Also I never felt real love. The one where you can do almost anything for your partner. I always had relationships that were just based on infatuation and thus Love was not something I have ever experienced. I see everyone around me, my friends, my family, my parents, everyone seems to be so in love and willing to do anything for their loved ones, but I was too unknown to these feelings.

I always thought myself to end up alone, sitting on a bench in a park, watching others have the best lives they can have.

I always thought myself to never feel love.
But what I never thought was that this thinking of mine was about to get broken in the way, most of us don't want it to be.

It was raining outside while I was inside a supermarket, searching for something that could be made into my meal for the night. The rain was pretty heavy and it was making the cold weather of January more cold, but I was warm, like basically I was in PJ's as I ran here after I remembered that I don't have a meal to eat tonight. I lived in an apartment near this supermarket so it was convenient.
I searched through the shelves, but nothing really got me saying that "yes I want to eat this tonight".

I just decided to go with the normal ramen noodles and was about to grab it from the shelf when another hand took it before me. It was the flavour I wanted and it was the last one there so I had to take it back somehow.

"Excuse me. But I was about to take it first." I said to him. He was facing his shopping cart, so his back is facing me.

"Sorry I took it first. So it's mine." He said, while still searching through his cart.

"No. This is the flavour I want and there's none left. So can you take something else. Please." I requested.

He turn to face me. He basically towered me. He was wearing a mask and a big coat.

"I'm sorry. But can you take something else, because I want this." He said and was about to leave when..

"I really took time to decide what to eat tonight and you are now taking it away from me." I whisper to myself.

"If that's it then I can help you." He said while his back still facing me.

"You're talking to me?" I asked.

"I don't see anyone around us. Come. Follow me." He gestured me to follow him, and I did.

He got me some vegetables and then some meat. And after getting everything, we both sat down on a table and then he explained everything to me on how to make it and I just sat there listening carefully, while my mouth already a little watering from how it is going to taste after I actually cook it.

We sat there some more time as we waited for the rain to stop and exchange some more recipes that we knew and gave some advices on how to better our dishes.

Soon the rain stopped and we bid our goodbyes.
As I was standing there watching him slowly fade in the evening dusk, I remembered that we never really told eachother our names.
I just shrugged at it and made my way home.

Later that night, I made the dish,  the dish did turn out to be really delicious. I ate till I wasn't able to move comfortably. I made alot so that it'll be enough for tomorrow too.
After that I spent like an hour talking to my bestfriend, Sejin, about the 'ramen guy' and his delicious recipes.

The night, while I tried to sleep, the only thing that was not allowing me to sleep were his eyes. They were so pretty, even prettier than mine I think. As most of his face was covered, either with mask or his long puffy hair, his eyes were the only ones that had my full attention. I don't think I ever stared into someone's eyes that long. And to be honest, I could stare at them for alot more time, I guess. But as it is my last time ever seeing him, I tried to forget about him and try to sleep.

But only if I knew that it was not the last time, I was ever seeing him.
