Coles Pov

This girl manages to surprise me everyday. After me making a fool out of myself doubting her knowledge about F1, we made it to the hospital. Adri and Leah pull up at the same time. Zoe and I hop out of the car.

"Did you know that peanut is a hugh F1 snob?" I direct my question to Adrijana once we reach them.

"Yeah where do you think she got it from?" She says shaking her head. I go ahead and walk in front of them.

"Zo what did you do to him, he's literally drooling all over you." Adri says, thinking that I can't hear them.

"Yeah Zo all the guys have been throwing themselves at you lately." Leah throws in.

Who do I need to beat the fuck up, I don't want horny teenage boys around my peanut. Not my peanut I mean Zoe.

"Too bad he doesn't date." Zo says, almost disappointed. Wait. What did those two fuckers do? I swear I'm going to kill Callum and Nate the next time I see them. Zoe starts walking away from them, passes me and goes into the entrance. I walk in behind her and without talking she goes into the elevator, the 3 of us follow her in and she presses floor 8.

 That's probably the peds floor. The whole ride up we are all silent and it's pretty awkward. I still can't believe that they told her that I don't date, I don't want her to start distancing herself from me just because of that. But why would she, I know I'm hot but she doesn't have feelings for me? does she?

The doors open and she starts walking towards a woman who I haven't seen before, they hug.

"Hey aunt, Del." Zo says excitedly, It's crazy how fast her moods change.

"Hey Zo Zo, Adri, Leah." She looks at them and then her eyes stop at me. She smirks."And Zoe's boyfriend."

Before I can say anything Zoe speaks. "Del he's not my boyfriend." She starts blushing.

"Hi I'm Cole nice to meet you."

"Oh yes Maya son. I'm Del, Zoe's super cool and young aunt."

"Do you know where mom is?" Zoe asks, disregarding what she's saying. 

"Yeah she's in Charlie's room 832" she replies.

"Thanks Del" she kisses her aunt on the cheek. "Lets go guys."

"Bye nice meeting you." I say to Zoe's aunt.

We all walk into Charlie's room, she's talking with Dr. Angelos. She looks so happy, even though she is sick. Kids don't deserve to be sick, they deserve to be happy and healthy and to be able to do anything that they want without worrying. Zo notices me standing by the door and she comes over.

"You okay C?" She takes my hand and gives it a squeeze.

"Yeah." I give her a smile. 

"Good. Now come meet Charlie." She starts walking in front of my still holding my hand, damn her ass looks good in those leggings. SHIT. Colton now is not the time to be thinking about that.

"Hey Charlie." Zoe says as she sits down on the chair next to her bed, and lets go of my hand. "Meet my friend Cole."

"You're boyfriend?" she asks, her eyes lighting up. I try and not laugh, why does everyone think I'm Zoe's boyfriend. Even though the thought of being with Zoe is amazing I will just end up getting hurt or hurting her. The latter is most likely.

"No, sweetie he's just my friend." Peanut says again the same disappointing tone as before.
