"Austin she isn't missing school!" Cassandra shrieked. "Education is the foundation upon which you build your future. We cannot compromise her education for her being a spy."

"But if there's no country what use is education. Besides, it's just today. Otherwise her training sessions will be conducted after school," again, Austin reassured her. By the way, he's always reassuring her because of the unwanted, weird, and clumsy things he does.

"Ask her first. She'll never want to miss her school," Cassandra said.

Addison was getting ready. She wore her best clothes: Her favourite Percy Jackson T-shirt, a red shirt, black jeans and sneakers. The best outfit.

"Addison, mom wants to talk to you," Austin called for her. Addison came out, blushing, "Yes mom," she said nervously. "Addison- are you ready to miss your school?" Cassandra said.

"Mom, it's just for a day right? A day is okay. Besides, I am doing some good to the world," Addison said, winking at Austin.

"Good to the world," Cassandra muttered under her breath. "As if she's actually going on a mission." Cassandra looked like a teenage girl throwing tantrums. And believe me, they do not look pretty.

"Mom please understand," Addison protested.

"Okay. Just for today. And mind you, I ain't being lenient.

"Thanks mom. You are the best!" Addison smiled.

Cassandra gave her a sarcastic smile and went away.  "Come on Ad!" Austin said and off both of them went for the training.

Now when I say training you must've thought 'She's fifteen, how tough could it be, at the most, she'll have to run a few rounds'. But no. The kind of training Addison got was not what all adults have experienced in their lives.

"Addison meet," Austin shook hands with a much disciplined looking lady, "Ms. Veronica Blue. She'll be training you."

"Hello," Addison smiled.

"Hi Ad. That's what your parents call you, right?" Veronica chuckled.

"Um-yeah," Addison replied, quite awkwardly. She sure didn't feel comfortable around that lady.

"So Addison, I'll come to pick you up at 5.Okay?" Austin asked.

"Okay."

"Come on Addison, we've got some training to do," Veronica said and took Ad to her office.

"So you're like the head of this place?" Addison asked Veronica, trying to start a conversation.

"This place is called 'The Rightside'. Yes, I am the head of The Rightside. My Great- Great- Great Grandfather founded this place; we've been fighting The Evil Side since then."

"Ah great!"

"So should we begin with your training?" Veronica asked.

"Yeah sure!" Addison answered, nervously.

"We have a lot of youngsters who have to begin with their training today, so I guess you'll get to make friends," Veronica smirked.

"Sure! I bet it'll be lovely," Addison smiled. She was relieved that there were children like her who wanted to be spies. She wasn't the only one. Veronica led her to a room.  With a lot of boys and girls in there, of Addison's age. All of them wanted to be spies. Somehow that comforted her. She comforted herself that she wasn't weird.

"Um. Hey guys! I am Addison. And I guess I'll be training with you today," Addison spoke nervously.

"Hey," a boy replied. The others didn't even pay attention to her. "I'm Peter. What about you?" he asked nervously.

"I'm Addison! Is this your first day at training?" she asked. "Yeah," Peter replied. "So, I guess we're friends?" Addison asked.  "Umm, sure!"  Peter replied. Their conversation was a bit too weird and awkward.

"So for today's training, we'll do a patience test," Veronica said as she broke into the room. "Afterwards we'll have a little talk with our newcomers Peter, Addison and Olivia," she announced. The three of them looked at each other. Olivia. Olivia Fudge, Addison's best friend was there too. How could this happen?

"Hi Addison." Olivia said quietly. "Hi Olivia? You're here?" Addison asked, startled. "Um yeah. It's my first day out here.  What about you?" "Yeah, it's my first day too."

"So, are your parents spies too?" Addison asked Olivia, smiling.

"Yes. I guess I'll have company here then," Olivia said elbowing Addison.

"Well, tell me your story, how did you learn your parents were spies?" Addison asked, with curiosity on her face and mischief on her mind. Olivia looked blank. "Well come on. Everyone has a story. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."

"Ok," Olivia said darkly.
