Ahh... It's already Friday and 1 more week, I won't see this little boy anymore. Naeun pursed her lips as she gently stroked Jayden's hair.

"Jji!" Jayden pointed at the swing and Naeun smiled.

"Swing!" Naeun pointed as well and followed Jayden's waddling pace to the swing.

Naeun carried Jayden up and placed him on the swing. She then gave a light push while holding on to his small body.

"Oh look, noona!" Naeun caught Jayden's attention.

The little girl came with her mom and got on the swing next to Jayden.

"How old is your daughter?" Naeun asked the mom.

"24 months, just had her birthday last week." The mom smiled and eyed Jayden for his age.

Naeun ohh-ed. "17 months." She answered.

"You look young for a mom."

Naeun waved in denial. "I'm just his babysitter. Waiting for college results."

"Ahhhh... My bad."

"It's okay." Naeun looked up and noticed the dark sky. "Looks like we gotta go."

The mom nodded. "Nice meeting you, see you around!"

And they parted ways. Good timing, Naeun brought Jayden back home before the rain starts pouring hard.

A few knocks were heard. "Sir."

"Come in." Jacob glanced up as he was busy typing vigorously on his keyboard. "Yes, Ms. Yang?"

"Mr. Kwon has been found and will be returning next week."

Jacob sighed in relief. "How's his condition? Any injuries?"

"He had an accident and was getting treatment in a small village." Jacob's secretary explained the missing employee's whereabouts.

That must be why nobody could find him... Jacob nodded. "Anything else to report?"

"That's all, sir."

"Alright, you may go." Jacob went back to focus on his work and just then he received a call from Naeun.

"Sorry for disturbing you, Jayden has a fever." Anxious could be heard.

Hearing Jayden's crying from the background broke Jacob's heart. "No worries, I'll get our doctor. Can you do me a favour? There's a red checkered scarf in the top drawer of my room."

As he was explaining, he reached out for his work phone and dialled his family's doctor. He may be calm, but of course he was worried for his son.

Naeun repeated his words in her mind as she briskly walked to his room with crying Jayden in her arms. Julia? "I found it."

"Great, wrap it around Jayden. It should calm him down."

"Oh okay."

"I've alerted our doctor and he should be there soon. Call me if anything! Thanks, Naeun."

After hanging up, Jacob sat in his seat and resumed his work. Daddy will be home soon, Jayden.

Naeun was taken aback by Jayden's sudden calm reaction when she wrapped him with the scarf. "Oh... This must belong to your mom huh?" She murmured with a small smile.

She then placed him on his bed. Julia, Jacob, Jayden... What a beautiful J family. She gently stroked Jayden's warm forehead.

Soon after, the doctor came and checked Jayden's condition.

"Is it serious?" Naeun worriedly asked.

Doctor smiled as he shook his head. "You must be the mom right? He will recover in a few days." He then passed some medicines to the blank faced Naeun.

He was too fast for her to correct him.

"Ah, thank you." She bowed and followed him to the front door.

Isn't he their family's doctor? She frowned as she closed the door. Or do we look alike? And that's why I was hired? She pondered real hard as she returned back to Jayden who had fallen asleep.

Not long after, Jacob came back with much concern written on his face. He kissed on Jayden's forehead, mentally praying for a quick recovery. God, he is still young. Please do not give him so much pain...

He then gave a small smile to Naeun who was by the door. "Must be hard for you, thank you."

"Oh no, I'm sorry that I brought him out earlier. He might have caught a virus out there..." Naeun started blaming herself.

Jacob shook his head in return. "That's okay. It's not your fault. Nobody's at fault." He reassured her. "I've taken afternoon leave, you may go back. I'll look after my son."

"Oh." Naeun rubbed her nape as she was unsure whether she should really go back.

Just then, Jacob's phone call started ringing. He excused himself to answer the call. Naeun walked to Jayden's side and looked at him fondly. Speedy recovery, little one. With her thumb, she caressed Jayden's cheek.

"I'm sorry." Jacob came back and apologized. He seems like he has more work...

Naeun smiled. "I'll stay." She offered.

Jacob pursed his lips and nodded eventually. He then grabbed a chair for Naeun to sit by Jayden's bed. Naeun bowed in gratitude before taking a seat. She then observed Jacob walking in and out of the room to set up his small working area near the door.

Hours flew by and Naeun was almost caught dozing off when another phone call rang. Her mouth agape when she finally realized how smart Jacob was. He intentionally set up his working corner near the door so that he could answer any phone calls outside of the room.

Awhile later, she herself received a call as well. She rushed out and bowed her head to Jacob who was also in a phone call.

"I'm working." Naeun whispered, embarrassed to be on the call during her working hours and her boss was literally just right there.

"I know. Just wanna ask if you want us to fetch you. It's still raining."

Naeun looked at the clock then shifted her eyes to the scenery outside of the window. "Ah... That's fine, I brought umbrella.

"Chanhee hyung is driving, we're coming from college."

"Chanhee hyung?" She repeated which Jacob's ears perked upon. Chanhee?

Sunwoo hummed in response. "We should be there in about 30 minutes?"

Ah his dormmate. "Okay then."

She ended the phone call and was about to walk in when she caught his stare. Jacob was looking at her despite being on the phone call.

She tilted her head in confusion. Jacob twitched his lips and shook his head, motioning her to head in.

She pursed her lips and walked into the room. Why was he looking at me like that? Do I really look like his wife?

It would be funny if it's really the Chanhee I knew.
